i thought it was actually a pretty good game - i didnt really like the shade of green though, it made the game look depressing - but i think it was a good idea, it seemed fun and i give it 8/10

Too bad I wasn't alive to see this game on the show, but it's grown on me! I play this game a lot on Big Jon's PC game, and I like the confetti effect for the wrong prices. I also like seeing the key fall to the floor when the player wins the car! On a side note, the cash value on Big Jon's game has gone up from $100 to $500, which would be the consolation prize value if the actual game were played today. Cool game!

$500 if you play the daytime version.  $1000 if you play the $1,000,000 spectacular version.  found that out today.
all of this can be yours, if you can afford it.

This actually seemed like a half-decent game. But it actually seemed kinda easy since there actually wasn't a true way to lose.

If this game premired now, I think it might've stuck

8/10

8 out of 10 because it looks cool!

I think if they made the stalls sleeker and more colorful, the game might still be around today.

Reguardless of the appearence, Shower Game was retired due to negative feedback from Jewish viewers and home audiences. They complained the design of the set reminded them of the Holocaust, which ended nearly 35 years earlier when this game was retired.

6 of 10, because I've never seen the game design.

Yeh I know! That set was ginormous. I guess its size could of partially caused the game to be retired.

Like the holocaust thing was the main reason, then the size was the nail in the coffin.

does anyone have a video available to view?  i haven't seen this game played on tv in 30 years, and i'm just curious to see it in action again.

I feel for those who were reminded of the Holocaust (and I was not offended one bit and I am not Jewish), but other than that it was a great game.  And the mammoth-sized set probably made it the only pricing game to reach the closest to the ceiling.  Too bad nobody bothered to put up a video of a playing on YouTube.  I hope someone does someday.

My grade:  B

It would have been an A if not for the Holocaust fiasco.
