While I myself have not been to the show, I have certainly read enough to give you some basic pointers:
* It would be good to arrive about an hour or so earlier than the time you stated (about 7:30). Due to the way audience members are seated now, you may get put anywhere regardless of when you arrive.
* Bring something to read, as it is usually a long wait.
* Do NOT bring a cell phone; they will be confiscated and put into a box, which shall be dumped out after the taping so you can retrieve it. It is simply not worth the hassle.
* Have fun, and do not forget to tell us how it went! (But please do not spoil any specific details, as that is not allowed by this site.)
Also I was wondering if my wife who is gorgeous, or myself who is going to be SUPER EXCITED about even going to the taping will have a batter chance of getting picked?!?
* Your chances depend on your interview with Stan Blits, which is brief since there are so many people. Be yourself, but not fake.
...The above said, Mike Richards (the executive producer) has final say based solely on photographs. Based on that, I would say that your wife is more likely to be chosen.
But please do not get your hopes up -- while it
could happen, you should not expect to be chosen as you will almost certainly end up disappointed.
* Finally,
do not mention this site or that you are a member of it! The staff monitors this site, and they hate us for several reasons; anyone found to be a member will almost certainly be seated in the back and will certainly have zero chance of being selected.
