Aussie Price returning?
« on: February 20, 2009, 06:00:52 AM »
Fans of the Australian Price is Right, I have some news to report.

Crown Casino in Melbourne is running a promotion based on the show, with a $50,000 Showcase up for grabs everyday.

License Magazine also reports that a live TPiR (Like the Todd Newton one in Reno) will be on daily for 6 weeks, but there is no information about this at the Crown site.

If the live show isn't happening, one must wonder why the contest is PiR-themed. (FYI, it has the American logo and music in the advertisement for it, but the Australian announcer.) Perhaps this is a lead-in for the show's return?

Don't jump the gun, robbie!
Remember, there is no confirmation by Crown that there's a live show.
A friend has told me to assume the worst: that the $50,000 Showcase will be given in a raffle-esque draw, like most of Crown's competitions.
