hide e-mail

I can't get my e-mail hidden in my profile, even though the "Hide email address from public?" box is checked.  What should I do?

It will always show when you view it.  I just viewed your profile and it is indeed hidden from public view.

I didn't know that I could always view my e-mail.  Thanks for checking.  I just wanted to make sure.
