CSS Results for March 5
« on: March 05, 2009, 03:23:04 PM »
Whoa, Army won CSS, and with some money too. Going from a reverse-blitz to a win in one day... not bad.

BigJon Will Win (Cash) Today. Fairly tight battle for that first showcase, too.

Kev347... ow... the $1 overbid is something I haven't experienced myself, but... painful. ::(

Well, I finally scored this week, hopefully I can keep this trend up after all those overbids.

Wow, wasn't expecting second place.

A good day all and all. And the good news is that I should be playing on a few double values Fridays in the near future.
Retired Games that should be brought back:
Barker's Bargain Bar, Buy or Sell, Superball!, Super Saver, Split Decision, Give or Keep, Hurdles, Penny Ante, Walk of Fame

I may have garfed the trailer, but I'm satisfied with a top 10 finish nonetheless

My first time playing in a week, and what happens?

:headbang:
"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Welcome to the $1 Overbid Club, Kev.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Who are the other members of the $1 Overbid Club, Firey? Haha.

Ouch. I guess that what makes it less painful is I was playing blind and those were literally blind guesses that I had zero confidence on (I was in chat, saw the prizes, and...zero confidence). Still, just a 4 at the end of my bid instead of a 5 and really good things happen - especially since I missed SC2 by a whole lot less than most of you. Wah.

18109 / 25509 - Yikes, Kev, on a couple of darn trips! Just change the size of a room and you could have won... :D

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for your love, affection and loyalty to me, drew, the models and.... The Price is Right....thank you for being such a "Loyal Friend & True". -Rich Fields (in an e-mail sent to me on 3/17/2010)

You may have been thinking a Hi-Lo, which is 20k. This was about 11k or so, if I remember right.

Quick question: Is Plinko Doubler only played on Friday, or any day of the week?
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

Whenever it is played, it happens. The absence of pink on the results means the winner went over, most likely.

Wayoshi is correct. In this case, two people tied for the win, but one went over and the other didn't submit bids due to technical difficulties.

Me and Flerbie.  So you're the third member.

But just remember:  I'm the only person in CSS history to be $1 over, $1 under, and exactly right.
