Should they put a stop to the 1 up bids?

It's pretty obvious that even 25-ups accomplish the same thing 95%+ of the time as a 1-up. There's no way to cure it and it's part of the strategy - live with it.

One Upping is part of the strategy of the game.  Plain and simple.  As the saying goes, "if it ain't broke don't fix it/"

The 1-up plan isn't flawless.  The person you 1-upped ($801 as opposed to $800) may have the exact bid ... and you'd be hanging your head in shame.
