Actually, he meant "The price is between $1,000 and $2,000", in regards to 4 digits Clock Game Prices.

Franc: Well, that's probably not any different than the original, much maligned Bullseye in modified form (Bob: "The car's price is between $2,000 and $2,500").

WarioBarker: Saying "You said $979, then $989, it's between those two" probably came after Drew sensed the contestant was confused and/or not paying attention to the "higher" and "lower" prompts.

Brian: It's still considered a hint because the host is providing a range for the contestant. If there were no range to hint on, then the contestant would assume it's lower than $1000, given the timeless fact that every playing of Clock Game has featured prizes below that amount. Had the range been exploited for helping purposes, according to some here, it would almost be the same thing as saying on the air that "all prices end with a zero" in 10 Chances.

I dream of the day that Drew figures that rule out (after x playings or so), and exploits it in the form of a subtle joke.

Come to think of it, was there ever an instance in 10 Chances where the price of a prize had no zero in it whatsoever? Prizes that had a 5 or a 9 as the last digit do not count, for they are "common" in other pricing games.

Am I the only one who wasn't rooting for Sabrina to win Lucky Seven? There was something about her that rubbed me the wrong way when she got up on stage, but I *really* started rooting against her when she told Lanisha to "beat it", as in get out of her car. She was trying to be funny, but I found it plain and simple rude and uncalled for.
I, too, wasn't rooting for Sabrina to win.  I was shocked when I heard what she said to Lanisha.  At first, I thought maybe I was hearing things.  I'm surprised Drew didn't say anything.

Besides, doesn't S&P not allow "giving" hints for free in a game such as 10 Chances?

Changing the official rules of the game to specifically tell the contestant that the last number is 0 is no more of an S&P violation than, for example, changing the official rules of Lucky Seven to give the player the first number of a five-digit car price for free. But since my suggestion of explicitly stating the Zero Rule was so roundly criticized, never mind. :)

That's got to be the highest I've ever seen the correct price in Range Game. Very evil.

I wish Drew knew about the zero rule in Ten Chances like Bob did, so maybe he'd say something about it. That was probably the worst violation of that rule in the history of the game.

HUGE showcases today. Sabrina! $65,334 and 2 cars? She'll be at the gas station every day!

I highly approved of March 12's (i.e. today's) show.
- OB 2: This was my favourite. Sharon thought she had Jennifer in the bag, and what do you know? EPIC WIN!!
- 10C: Jennifer was so bad she was good. I laughed.
- L7: Missed this; I was watching Bernie Madoff get sentenced. Congratulations to Sabrina, though.
- PaP: Nice.
- C/G: Only $3,000 bucks for a Spanish course AND a trip to Cancun? Well, that was before inflation, I guess.
- SC1: I don't think this was enough.
- SC2: The "royalty" theme really suited this showcase. It's the biggest one I've seen in a long while.

Pattern: LxWWWL (The "x" is in there because 10C obviously wasn't a win, but I don't think winning over $4,000 worth of prizes deserves to be called a loss, either.)
Items Won: Vacuum sealer, picnic stuff, wine cabinet, accessories, drum set, 2 cars, TV, home theater, bedroom, jewelry

Great show for the first rerun of the summer.  Nice to see the Bimmer won.  If they had a 135i instead of the 128i, the showcase would've been over 50 grand.

They didn't last summer, so I doubt they will this year.

Range Game: Man, that setup was evil! I would have lost this one, too.
Ten Chances: This was another example of a contestant not knowing the zero rule, and the lack of knowledge of said rule cost Jennifer dearly when she was trying for the car.
Most Expensive: Nice win by Brittany!
Pick A Pair: An excellent win by Sharon!
Lucky Seven: Nice win by Sabrina
Coming or Going: So close for Joyce.
Dr. Pepper: Not recommended for Skype chats
