38th Season Premiere Taping question
« on: March 25, 2009, 05:23:48 PM »
I know that on CBS.com, it says that they will tape the TPIR 38th Season Premiere on May 27.  My question is this:  will it be the 1:00 PM taping or the 4:00 PM taping?  Thanks!

If the schedule does not change due to the recent taping cancellations, Show #4821K (Season 38 Premiere) is planned for 1PM on 5/27/09.

Willy - while I understand you are no longer excited about the show in its current state, other people are. Don't patronize them - it's very rude.

I didn't take the comment that way, although he did leave a lot of room for interpretation.

I'd be interested to know what the meaning really was, though.

Willy's posts are great, as they either leave a lot to the imagination (like this one), it's informative, or it's a sentiment I agree with.

You're KILLING me!  You really are

Anyway, I don't think Willy meant it that way, that this is a bad thing, seeing the Season 38 premiere. Heck, I even feel it's a neat thing, despite my feelings on the show (some poor ideas, some non-loyalties issues that dissapoint me, but heading slightly in the correct direction). I think Willy is very interested in seeing if/how things are changing for the next season, putting you very high up on new information around this site. Outside of the BBS, this is the best place to get Price news. Also, Willy is a great information man (who knows people), so he'd want to know what's going on.

Also, there's another thing Willy hints at here; it's not suitable for a public forum. Do not ask.

Eh, maybe I was just grouchy when I posted that reply, but given Willy's opinions as to the current state of the show, that wouldn't surprise me.

A total lack of smilies doesn't really help the cause, either.

I think that Willy has spoken numerous times about not announcing to the forum you are attending a particular tape date.

It singles you out, and as seen from the recent live taping thread, people from the show do read the website.

We've noticed a disturbing trend of G-R members not being completely "welcome" at the studio.

I think Willy was only trying to protect you and keep your dream of being on stage one day still alive.

Fleb, that sounds logical, too. One thing, though. [I can't say too much here, to protect their show experience.] Did either one of CJB or Bully give their first names? To the best of my knowledge, no. I think that puts them out of that risk. Heck, anyone who has posted a name here, I generally know. They haven't, or I just don't know it. (This assumes CJB goes by something other than CJ. I've only heard GBD go by Bully around these parts.)

If I recall correctly, this 'trend', if you want to call it that, began with Willy.  Hence why he's so sensitive to it and so keen to keep others from falling into it.

Bully has definitely dropped his name around these parts before.

Only when I post something from the heart and not from the mind.  :P

The people at CBS read my posts as well as others, and I'm one of the more positive people when it comes to the state of the show as it is now.  I love how Mr. DiPirro is directing the show, and it really seems to me that Drew is getting better and better every single day.  I hope the next season brings us some more innovative concepts than ever before.  :-D

If CBS really wanted to out of their way to blacklist me from "Coming On Down", they should have more than enough information from me already on this site, even without my real name.

Providing them a tape date where I'll be one in a few hundred people in the crowd is the least of my worries. If they don't know me by now, they're not going to.

I too am one of the more positive posters when it comes to the "new direction" of the show, Bully.
