So then by your
There is no point in having ten prices set up if it is not within the realm of possibility and/or plausibility that one of them could be the correct answer.

Interesting you mention Ten Prices.  So by your rationale, it would be completely reasonable for them to eliminate the tried and true "zero rule" simply because it's "possible" given the digits 8,4,9,0 that the sofa could be $849?

Or that the Range Game is setup so that if the rangefinder moved more than $11 the game would be lost?

Have you ever seen That's Too Much?  There are ten prices on the board.  That's what he meant... not the game, 10 Chances.

Well even if we have new higher-up staffers, I don't think they are getting rid of the "zero rule" for Safe Crackers and 10 Chances. I was thinking about this the other day, but if they were to remove the zero rule both games would have a much lower winning rate.

Given that 3/4 of the players who play 10 Chances either don't know or don't abide by the "zero rule" they'd probably get people more chances at the car by eliminating it...

Maybe...but i'd also dare say car wins would be few and far between if the "zero rule" was eliminated. Things are ok with Ten Chances the way it is right now. They don't need to go tinkering around with it.
