Grocery: Boy, I was expecting the price of the glue to be a bit higher than $2.08.

Pathfinder: Those SP's were so ridiculously high!!!!

P-a-N: Meh.

Switch?: The Designer crap needs to go!!!!

TTM: WOW!!! Just WOW!!! They are really screwing with our minds with these bloody setups.  :headbang:

Danger: That Dinette Set didn't fool me at all. i actually would've won it. Now our ol' boy Pepe is now making his appearance known.

Showcases: The 2nd showcase was more wantable.

A 2-star show.

Pick-a-Number EXTREMELY hard
I didn't think it was that hard personally.  A lot of equipment was offered and massages aren't exactly cheap.  I think it would have made more sense for Grocery Game to be played for this package and Pick a Number to be played for the Boston trip though since it is odd to price a package of prizes.

How in the world is a billiard's table less expensive than a bunch of stupid handbags?
It was a really small table, and the designer stuff is always expensive.

Not a complete "el skunko."  A true "El Skunko" would also involve a double overbid, which isn't seen here.

The show was completely skunked.  Regardless of the designations some people here have created, the Showcase doesn't have anything to do with skunkings or perfect shows.

Wow, the show had polar opposites-a half decent lineup with pretty poor results.

Grocery Game-Her instinct came just a little too late.
Pathfinder-The price was evil, not meant to be won.
Pick a Number-Thought it was 4 also.
Switch?-I did not see this game, but same old result.
That's Too Much-This was hard to win too.
Danger Price-What can I say? A complete skunking.
SC's-I actually thought the winner was going to win both showcases.

We have had a lot of skunkings this season.
Will Plinko ever be won???

Grocery Game:  If only Barbara would've picked 10 Elmer's Glues first instead of second...
Switch?:  Only $1,400 for a pool table!? ???
Showcases:  Great bid by Karen! :-)

Horrible.  Just horrible (except for the showcases). :-(

Grocery Game: Ten glues would've won this...if only they were picked first. But instead, another MRRRRRRRRP! moment.

Pathfinder: What an evil setup!

Pick-a-Number: See above.

Switch: Enough with that designer crap already!

That's Too Much: Enough with this game already!

Danger Price: Bring on the skunk! And also...MRRRRRRRRP!

Showcases: Sweet redemption by Karen, though it would've been even better had she won both Showcases.

Miscellaneous: I like that they're retaining most of the classic cues, like the Cue 86 variant used in the GP description for Grocery Game, but I really miss the Big Banana Remix for Danger Price. That's my take on the whole thing. At least there wasn't a Double-Overbid in this one. Oh how tragic that would've been.

to defend my argument that this was the worst lineup ever:

I just really feel that PA#, Switch, and TTM do not a good show make - I get the idea that quickies need to be played, sometimes two in one show, but good lord they could have had a combination of 1RP + CoG, FF + CoG, 1RP + FF, Double Prices + FF, you get the idea...

Add to that the fact that PA# has been a crapshoot 75% of the time, Switch has been way over played, and TTM has had evil setups, and you get an unenjoyable show to watch.  That is why I feel that this was the worst lineup.

I also can understand why many people enjoy seeing Grocery first, but something smacked of bad taste in my mouth when I saw it come around - I just didnt like seeing it played for a trip to Boston to lead off the show, especially when you had Pathfinder following it up.  Hollistically, I won't put much stock into it because hey, if there was one saving grace on this show, it was that we got a GP and an SP game, something which has been sorely lacking in many shows this season.

Its great to see Danger Price, and yes it should be in play more often to counterbalance Race, but after about 30 minutes of boring and unenjoyable PGs, I just couldnt get motivated to watch it, especially without the Big Banana Remix to lead into the prize descriptions.

One Bid 1: The batting cage, the safer cousin of the Lob-Ster Machine...

Grocery Game: It's been a long time since I've seen, used, or brought glue like that. I sometimes think there's always going to be one product that you can buy ten of and win. Not all the time, though.

Pathfinder: I usually play along with the game: standing up and taking steps, but I didn't feel like doing it. Is this a predictive sign? Well, Karen was caught by some trappy numbers...

Pick-a-Number: It's been a while since I would pick the first choice (of 4). I didn't think think the package was that expensive.

Switch?: My dilemma: Pool tables are usually at least $2000, but designer handbags are expensive. I would have switched them, thinking that Kate Spade might be "affordable." WRONG.

That's Too Much!: It just couldn't be the second price this time. I think I would've stopped on the next price after Robert's and still lose.

Danger Price: That's prbably what the title of this episode should be at this point, because that's where we are to avoid a skunking. Why didn't Natalie pick the scooter? Now he's riding in it, laughing his (butt) off!

How was Pick a Number hard?  THe value of the 52 massages was probably well over $4000 of the $6000 top price selection.

The show decided to remove it.  Personally I don't think it works that well in daytime.  It's something that was a special touch in primetime but now in daytime it doesn't really seem worth doing IMO.
