Grand Game: $13.00? Oh, this is going to be easy. So shocked to see that sauce cost so much. I also had a feeling it was going to be the razors..

Eazy az 123: Those fragrances almost tricked me; but I went with my original (and correct) choices.

That's Too Much!: Without thinking about the second price, I also wanted to stop there. It also seemed weird and rushed without the music and some of the shots which may seem like there was some editing going on.

Squeeze Play: My choices were either the first 9 or the (ususal middle number) 5.

One Away: I sometimes wonder if the Mighty Sound Effects Lady would not honk because a contestant doesn't address her other than having numbers right. Maybe she would give a delayed reaction or something. Having a price end in 77 in this game seems a little ugly...

Secret "X": "How can you miss on the $10 mop? You would pay $20 for it?!? And then you wipeout?!?!?"

That's Too Much was just all-around weird. The guess was terrible, and the familiar cue didn't even play. What's up with that?

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Karen

How in the world was Karen's guess terrible when over the last several playings the correct stopping point has been either in the 9 hole or the 2 hole?? The last time out it was in the 9 hole and if one went by that particular strategy and it held true to form--Karen stopped precisely when she should have--at 2. Too bad for her they finally decided not to put the correct stopping point at a point other than 2 or 9.

Because the price being in-between 17810 and 18156 is much less than between 18156 and 20155.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Grand Game:  Rats! :-(  That sure is expensive pasta sauce!
That's Too Much!:  Figures - someone actually stops at the 2nd price and it ain't the right one!

Not too good overall, IMHO.

Grand: When you have an unfamiliar brand of Pasta Sauce involved, You know were expecting it to cost a bit high. But $11.99??!!!  8-O 8-O  8-O Jeez!!!!

Easy: Very nice.

TTM: The only thing terrible about this was the loss. Just when we thought the whole "2nd choice" trick would finally be duped, but it backfires.  :-(

Squeeze: So obvious.

One Away: ..and I was actually screaming for Blake to change the first 5.

Secret: Oh Jamie Lee!! How could you bomb on 2 simple SP's?

Showcases: A relief to see a car offered in a showcase after a few weeks, though. I feared we had another DO, too. Tyler made it alright.

A 2.50-star show.

Yeah, but knowing the way they've set the game up lately sure didn't make it a terrible guess--it showed to me that Karen has to at least be more than a casual viewer to pick up on a trick like they'd been doing.

"With card", I imagine.
Nope-- $7.99 is the regular price of it there, although it may have been a smaller size than what was on the show.  I'll have to look at the show and the sauce in the store again.

It's $9.39 here.  I actually used that sauce in my last Host Your Own show.  Insanely expensive still, but considering all the other groceries they buy are more expensive than usual, it seems only fitting that the ridiculously overpriced pasta sauce would be even more ridiculously overpriced.  Whatever the price, it'd be really cruel to use it in Check-Out, Grocery Game, or Hi Lo.  Could've been really cruel here, too, if they didn't use the highest target price in Grand Game history.
