My hunch is that the buzzer may be included in the touch screen of any Nintendo DS(i).

Now, I don't own a Nintendo DS, but I think you might be right, TVLubber.

I wonder if they're going to change the big doors to match the Wheel & Turntable. They've got the season 37 turntable & wheel, but the season 36 doors - looks odd. I just thought maybe there'd be an MDS mode, but the Showcase podiums are the daytime ones, so that couldn't be it. I know it's not possible b/c of licensing, but I really wish they could fix the fonts on some of the games. 3 Strikes looks really odd with such a skinny font.

I hope they change the doors in the game, PriceFan. As you said, it's odd to have the Season 36 doors with the Season 37 turntable and wheel. An MDS mode would be awesome, though.

You know, it's all right, if so, but, I've noticed just the same IUFB and Showcases. With the new games, we'll get new prizes, right? I've only notice the $40,000 car in 3 Strikes, but, that's it (for new prizes).

As for PYL- you guys are pressed for time. I respect what you do highly. I'll buy no matter what, assuming: it is not all glitches AND there are no viruses. Looks good, though.

Shouldn't it be this way, in all parts of the board? I might disagree with what you say, but, I sure as heck want to hear it. After all, I might agree with you on some points.

Before I comment about how wrong TVLubber's idea is, every sensible person knows there will be no buzzer add-on with these games.  As I mentioned earlier, it's another expense towards the game, one which will likely only work with that game.  Do you want to spend an extra $5 or $10 just because you want to make the game somewhat authentic?  A fool and his money are soon parted.

Now let's think about why putting a buzzer add-on on top of a DS screen might not be a smart idea...  First, the buzzer would have to be quite small to fit on top of the DS's bottom screen.  Second, repeatedly pushing down with force on one part of the screen will damage it, even with a screen protector.  On a related note, you know some idiot(s) will smack down on that buzzer with enough force to break the screen, if not the console itself.

There's always the A button on the controller of the Nintendo DS(i).

And I repeat, some idiot(s) will smack a big red button with such force that it will break the DS, or at least the A button.  Just admit it's not a well thought out idea and move on.

There's nobody so stupid, they'd break the DS. Besides, there's no other solution to have it on the DSi. Besides, I meant that the buzzer would be shown IN the Touch Screen. Not ON it.

Then you must underestimate the general population of North America.

Hitting the button on a portable console is NOT like the REAL game show. They're most likely to do it slightly in that case, and on the Wii version, they only need the remote.

Dude, just pick up a newspaper some night and read the police blotter.  You will quickly be disabused of the notion that there aren't any people stupid enough to do something like this.

Well, this is just just a rough cut of the game.  The final product doesn't come till later.  I bet when release day comes, these inconsistencies won't be there (I hope).

Very briefly in a clip of the showcase showdown, you can see door #1 has the season 37 design.
