-Lineup: Decent, looks like it could have been more aggressive (make Freezy a MP I say).
-Freezy: She was too excited and impatient to get it back around, even though it was relatively easy. Oh well. 7/10
-A#: Wow, he knew what he was doing!! 10/10
-Hi/Lo: Another from-the-randomly-expensive-supermarket moment in those corn holders. Those will be evil somewhere else... 9/10
-SD1: 4/5
-DP: PEANUT GALLERY!! It's two of them! Not a package!! 7/10
-Punchy: I'm giving this a 9 - she split even through VERY, VERY hard SPs, and found a 5k where the other girl found 10k earlier. That's pretty good.
-Cover: Good going! 9/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: Bah, FRATs. 4/5
-SC2: I like these types of SCs, to be honest. :D 4.5/5
-Results: I knew that SC2 bid was DSW quality......just off! Pretty good bid on the random FRATs too, just the wrong way! 9.5/10
-Drew: Did great in Punchy, but was too mellow in Cover for my liking. 8/10

PGs: 51/60
SDs: 8/10
SCs: 18/20
Drew: 8/10

85 --> B
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Freeze Frame: Patience pays sometimes, and I wouldn't have won either.
Any Number: This was a very good playing here. And Ford Rangers have really escalated with price these days.
Hi-Lo: I thought one of the items would cause a trip-up, but nope, it was evaded. Good win!
Double Prices: Peanut gallery, pay attention next time!
Punch-a-Bunch: Those were extremely difficult SPs, and I would've gotten one right.
Cover Up: Another great playing of this game, and sometimes, it can be set up for an easy win, or a forced loss at times.

Double Prices: it's a PAIR of something, so the price HAS to end with an EVEN number.  I would have won this pricing game.  Automatic win if you've watched the show enough times and learned enough math.

I think that if the show didn't want this DP prizes won, they would have it played for Pick A Number for any but the last digit.

That is completely not true.

I wouldn't say completely, it's very often right.

It's also possible to make an odd number out of entirely even numbers.

You know I just love how Punch-a-Bunch is showing up in the 2nd half more often than not lately. I do hope they decide to play it last one time before the season is out though.

Speaking of pairs of prizes offered, I'd dare say 9.75 times out of ten the price is gonna end in an even number. Very very very rarely are you gonna see 'em end with an odd number, in fact I don't recall in the last several years from my memory seeing a pair of prizes offered that ended with an odd number.

It's also possible to make an odd number out of entirely even numbers.

You've just screwed up the entire concept of parity.

Odd ± Odd = Even, Even ± Odd = Odd, Even ± Even = Even.

If the prizes are a pair of something, with each item in the pair costing exactly the same, it's going to be an even number, period (unless they are sold together, as a pair, for an odd-numbered price).

Or have a random 50 cents tagged on the both prices...Again, it's not like it hasn't happened before where a pair ended in an odd number.

True... I didn't even think about the decimal... I pretty much just had a brain fart.

I'm sure somebody will lecture me now on how that should've been "integers" instead of "numbers". :-P

Great playing of Hi-Lo.  Who knew ear of corn holders would cost that much?

They round their prices to the nearest dollar.

Even plus even = even
odd plus odd = even
It's also possible to make an odd number out of entirely even numbers.
I just tried that on a spreadsheet.  Came out even each time.  Can you give ME an example in PM?

I was at this particular show.  For those who'd like to know where I was, I was Audience #025 in line--the goofball sitting dead center in the 3rd row with a black shirt, trimmed beard, and glasses on.

Anyways, today marked a day that I would soon never forget, as the majority of the games that were played today were ones that I have never seen in person before.  Freeze Frame was SO set up for a win it wasn't even funny.  Any Number was surprisingly difficult to guess even though it was a fully loaded Ford Ranger.  I would've lost Hi-Lo today on account of those corn holders; it's the first time that anyone has seen corn holders on the show, but I would agree that we will see them again in the future.  Double Prices should not have been lost; I would've won that setup blindfolded.  I was humbly surprised that the contestant won two punches in Punch-a-Bunch; those SP's were tricky for me to get a grip on and price.  I was surprised that a Scion showed up for Cover Up, and I would've lost that one too.  As for today's Showcases, a ton of people in chat bid too aggressively on the all-trip one; my in-studio bids of $16,000 (SC-1) and $28,600 (SC-2) would've given me a decent day CSS-wise as well as the cash for the MINI Cooper.

As for technical aspects of the show, I was surprised on how they did the transition between PG-1 and One-Bid #2; I figured a brief stopdown was in order for the transition to take place, but what they did was have the 2nd one-bid item behind a small curtain and the 2nd game ready to go on the turntable.  The plasmas were awesome to look at, and it truly seemed that the entire set was pleasing to my one good eye.  Anyways, if anyone can link me to some screencaps of me in the audience, I would greatly appreciate it very much (for my records).  Thanks again.  :-D
