Drew was just infuriating today.  It was like he couldn't take a single thing seriously...especially during Switcheroo, which almost felt like 3 Strikes from season premiere week all over again.

Teni, on the other hand, was totally awesome!  She's the most fun contestant I've seen in ages getting all hyper of Most Expensive and...well, everything, really!  The girl would have been an absolute gold mine for Bob.

Maybe it's just because I was on IM during the prize descriptions, but I didn't think Most Expensive was very hard.  The prices were certainly higher than I thought they would be, but that's not necessarily important in this game.

though it was very nice to see Roo pop out of nowhere, was NOT expecting that

Really?  Looking at the calendar, it was totally due that week.  I was much more surprised about Hole in One, which I thought for sure would show up on one of these episodes...but no, it really did go two and a half months without getting played.

One-Bid #1:  Drew better watch out for Karri and Teni.  They could do some bodily damage.

Roo:  Yay!  Switcheroo! :P

ME:  I remember the desk/treadmill and the Ferrari clothes from past shows.  I knew both were big bucks, but I remember the desk/treadmill being $4,000 or $5,000.

TTM!:  With a Ford Focus up for grabs, the second price ($17,121) could very well have been the right price to stop on.  But this Focus was pretty well loaded, so it had to be closer to $18,000 than $17,000.  Sherri really wanted to stop on that second price.  Good thing she pressed ahead one more.

One-Bid #6:  So does the eraser come with the watch? :-D

My showcase bids:
Room/China--$15,107
Car--$25,107

Result:  Wow, a Vibe GT must be in the price range of an Impala or something.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Yep, the Vibe GT has a higher base.

Ah, sounds like I need to pay more attention to the copy next time. I admit that sometimes I just see the prize and try to price it immediately before I can listen to Rich's description.

You know, after watching Drew with Teni today, I think I figured out why Drew's buzz-cut got the boot... he's balding.

It was very clear every time he bent over laughing at Teni's wackiness.

I thought it was an OK episode, although the winnings were few.  TPIR doesn't seem quite the same without Wilford Brimley and his diabetes testing supplies during commercial breaks.  (I don't get to watch the show very often.)  When did they stop running these commercials?

A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Switcheroo: Rough setup. Let's just say the 1 wasn't my choice for the car.

Most: Teni was a BLAST!!!!!  :-) Another proper example of true enthusiasm for TPIR hopefuls. I'm amazed she pulled off that victory on that uber-expensive Desk/Treadmill. Very Good.

FlipFlop: Should've went the other way.

Grocery: Dennis had no chance after going a tad overboard with the Quilted northern tissue.

TTM: IT WAS WON!!!!  :-o I actually feared the 2nd price will strike again......WRONG!!!! Great victory!!  :-)

Squeeze: Meh.

Showcases: I'm really happy to see Teni take it all home with a new car to boot as well!!!

A 2.75-star show.

Yeah, I thought that had been apparent for a while, but to me, the longer hair just makes that look more obvious. Maybe they'll change a few camera shots like they eventually did with Bob for that same reason.   :P

Not to be a downer... but Was I the ONLY one that thought Teni was just to much? She just got really annoying to me toward the end of the show. I mean I'm all for excitement, but she just got under my skin quite a bit and every time she opened her mouth to shreek, I just cringed...

I'm glad this was an older show. I figured it was, but I was hoping Drew wasn't reverting back to old antics...

Nope, you're not the only one. By the end of the show, I can honestly say both me and the future-mrs. were annoyed.

I would have to agree that Teni got annoying by showcase time. I'm all for enthusiastic contestants, but screaming every word that came out of her mouth was a bit much.
