Mrs. Eskander,
Would bart like to share some photos of his personal collection to the site?

Yes, considering how everyone's been so polite about him over the years and how some rejoiced over his departure.
I doubt she or he think very highly of us. Hence, she felt the need to come forward.

We were.
Joe's saying we've been very detrimental of Mr. Eskander's job on the show, so he sure isn't in any debt to us.

Hmm...this is very much looking like a higher-up at the show went to Bart and said something like "You know, we're not going to fire you right now, but we'd
really
appreciate it if you went ahead and retired. Like, next week would be nice." Or Bart finally had enough of everything that was going on at the show and didn't feel like hanging around until he
was
fired.
This is idle conjecture, of course; I have zero proof of anything. I am basing that on absolutely nothing other than the fact that it seems to fit the greatest number of claims out there right now.
Or maybe he was afraid of just simply getting fired too and decided to leave before it happened.

He might have had no fear whatsoever of being fired at all. Sometimes, just reaching the point of having had enough
is
enough.

Very true. I'd love to hear Bart's reaction to her offering him to speak to Marc.

It's strange that this denial of being fired suddenly pops up now. His dismissal was posted a long time again and nobody jumped in to correct the record.
I can't help to think that somehow laywers have stepped in.

Marc raises some excellent points. If all Bart wanted to do was retire gracefully, one would think he would have given notice and stayed around until his replacement was hired, and that there would have been an orderly transition with Bart holding the new guy's hand until he was settled in. We all know Price is a terrifically complex show to direct, yet I've never heard anything to indicate that Bart and R. Brian were ever in the same control room at the same time.

Assuming that a professional two-week notice was provided prior to his retirement, how come there was no “buzz” around the studio in the days before Bart directed his last show?
This is an interesting question. I know that the entire crew and staff knew beforehand about Marc Breslow leaving.
I'm with Bennett Cerf on this one.

If Bart officially retired it would have been announced at the time of his leaving. It wasn't.
It would seem silly to leave a successful TV show voluntarily. Roger was pushed out , Bart left suddenly, and now Syd is leaving. It would be interesting to find out if Drew had problems with these three. Roger knew the show, Bart directed it solidly (although not as good as one could), and Syd was a company man.
I somehow think there is a Drew connection.

Drew did not have a a problem with Roger. It was reported he was quite unhappy when he was fired. Don't know about Syd yet, but it was a maybe a rumor but reported that Drew and Bart didn't get along. Maybe Marc or Susan can confirm or deny that for us.

Drew did not have a a problem with Roger. It was reported he was quite unhappy when he was fired.
Nina Tassler reported that they were bringing in "Drew's people." I said it before and I'll say it again, if Drew wanted Roger back he would be back. It was also reported that he was boasting about a new Producer and the changes they were making after he was "under a microscope" the first year. The only people who could put Drew under a microscope are the Executive Producer, the Producer, and the Director since they control the show. All three of them are now gone!
I'm really perplexed about this news of Bart's retirement.

If you think Drew had Syd fired, then you are sadly mistaken. No matter how much power Drew has at TPiR, Syd is (and maybe Mike) the one person Drew absolutely CANNOT fire. Syd is/was THE boss @ the show.
