CCYoshi's Computer Price Is Right Recaps
« on: May 13, 2006, 01:27:12 PM »
See, this is what happens when I get bored and have BigJon's most excellent TPIR Computer Game Handy - it's a full recap of a game I played by myself (I'm all 10-ish of those weird nicknames)

Enjoy! If you like it I'll make more!
(this is the right forum...right?)

The magic 3rd seat wins for the 3rd time in a row. Funny that.

And now the 3rd seat magic is broken as all 3 original contestants left quickly vacated in the second half. Lucky them. Although we're not having the best win ratio here...

Magnavox DVD/VCR Bracket 50 Higher (Wrong - 30)
Motorized CD Rack 61 Higher (Right - 70)
Storage Locker 78 Lower (Right - 64)

First Hole 50 - continue
Second Hole 500 LOSE?

SCSD 2:

And once again I demonstrate my great ability to overprice boats and mobile home trailer thingies. And I thought I was bidding low! Maybe next time.

Pricing Games: 1 for 6
Value of Cash and Prizes Given Away: about $33830 (I estimated about $2500 for the prints in Super Ball)

Well, I have a few more, so I'll keep adding them. Reply if you likey! (or don't)

First Four: Sakoshi / Y05H1 / Amikku / Chaos Eriol

IUFB 1: Ashley Barbara China Cabinet
Sakoshi 1000 / Y05H1 1200 / Amikku 1500 / Chaos Eriol 1001
PERFECT BID!! Don't you love it when someone gets one-ups another, and then the original person wins with a perfect bid?? ...well, that didn't happen. Correct price, 1200!

1: Y05H1 plays One Right Price
The price is $4392
*Canopy Bed/Sleep Set* (4392) WIN!
Secard Balboa Billiards Table (3421)

Yoshi 97 comes on down
IUFB 2: Frigidaire Side-by-Side Freezer
Sakoshi 1002 / Yoshi 97 1200 / Amikku 1500 / Chaos Eriol 1001
(1725)
In a fit of laziness everyone bids the same amount except for Sakoshi, who happens to be smarter than underbidding by one dollar.

2: Amikku plays Bonkers for a highbrowfurniture.com Alvelta Bubble Chair
Standard #s = 4466
Try 1 - LLLL
Try 2 - LHLL WIN! (2525)

Yoshi 9X comes on down
IUFB 3: Maytag Washer/Dryer
Sakoshi 900 / Yoshi 97 1500 / Yoshi 9X 1000 / Chaos Eriol 750
(1890)

3: Yoshi 97 plays One Away for a 2006 VW Passat Sedan
Orignal Price - 15841
Try 1 - 24730 (2 right)
Try 2 - 24952 WIN!
I honestly never understand why prices on the PC game never ever end in zero, but of course the VW couldn't be 26K...

SCSD 1:
Amikku .95 ADVANCES
Y05H1 .35 + .90 OVER
Yoshi 97 .35 + .30

neoYoshi comes on down
IUFB 4: Yamaha Vino Motorscooter
Sakoshi 2000 / neoYoshi 200 / Yoshi 9X 2500 / Chaos Eriol 2900
(1450)
neoYoshi's intent was to bid 2000, but as usual slippery fingers work out...

4: neoYoshi plays Coming or Going for a Washburn Acoustic Guitar
*1179* or 9711 WIN!
Quite possibly the easiest playing of Coming or Going in  history.

eYoshi comes on down
IUFB 5: Adams Golf Equipment
Uh, the bids got lost in the sands of time. My mistake.
(1725)

5: Chaos Eriol plays Cover Up for a 2006 Mazda Truck  B2300
[1]7977
[1]359[9]
[1][4][2]6[9]
[1][4][2]4[9] LOSE (14209)

CCYoshi comes on down

Free Chip                                     $1000
Crock Pot 8[7] correct (27)                   $0
Videogame 2[8] correct (78!?)                 $1000
Stainless Steel Spice Rack [5]9 correct (53)  $500
Character Toothbrush [1]3 correct (15)        $100 LOSE (2600 total)

SCSD 2:
Chaos Eriol .10 + .85 ADVANCES
neoYoshi .40 + .40
Sakoshi .25 + .85 OVER

Showcases:
#1 - Sony Armband Radio, 2 Drum Kit, Shaker Dining Group/Dinnerware, Broyhill Dining Room/Flatware, Adama Golf Equipment, Billiard Table (a Splendido Showcase) - Amikku passes to Chaos Eriol

#2 - 40 pc Auto Tool Kit, Power Tools, HANNspree LCD TV, Floor Clock, Wall Clock, (the Splendido music was playing again, but at least there's a...) 2006 Dodge Magnum SE

#1 - Chaos Eriol bids $16500 - price $18270 - difference $1770
At this point our bidder is already rejoicing - a less than 2000 dollar difference - one of the best I've seen in a while (because, y'know, I can't value things at all).

Meanwhile in showcase #2, Amikku bid $28350, and the actual retail price was...
$29071 for a difference of $721!!
An amazing upset and one of the best combination of showcase bids I've seen ever! Amikku walks away with total winnings of $33,321.

Pricing Games: 4 for 6
Value of Cash and Prizes Given Away: $77848
