Well, he talked bad about the trip skins calling them "old paintings" and was glad that they no longer are giving away Pontiacs but instead Hondas. I really think that I am done with this show, I used to watch every day I could, now its once a week at most.

I'm not surprised at all that Drew doesn't recommmend this site right now, because it seems like there are a few people here who haven't forgiven him simply for "not being Bob Barker".
Well, whether people complain or not still doesn't change the fact that we here are the
show's
most loyal fans. You'd think he'd at least recognize that.

Here's some quotes, and thoughts, boy, I have a lot to say after reading this.
Quote
I auditioned for the show you know.
Is this true? Wasn't part of Drew's contract that he would
not
audition, due to his hosting on
Power of 10
? Strikes me as odd.

The staff comes in with... well thought-out themed showcases...
Again, huh? I though Drew made the vast majority, if not all, of these Showcases. Drew will obviously support his own product, but, Drew's choice of words gives me a chuckle. Especially with the Drewbacles that happened earlier this year. A very few, select showcases have been "well thought-out themed" this year, personally.
On the Vegas trip, I agree with Drew, in that I like nice trips (more than you would expect), but, they shouldn't be the main prize in the showcase. Then, Drew says some neat stuff.
Quote
...a Skyloft Suite at the MGM (where only rich guys like me stay). I'd never lusted after a showcase before EVER. But since the staff has been working this way I've lusted after most of them. The staff picks GREAT prizes nowadays.
What a snobbish comment about the suite. Seriously. I have zero problem with mentioning that the room was a Skyloft Suite, but the ensuing comment is downright rude, and unclassy.
Drew never lustered after a showcase, before that, eh? No wonder Drew seems so bored, most of the time. Even then, Drew goes on and says "most" after the said point. It should be all. This goes back to Drew's biggest hosting issue: he believes it is about himself, not the contestants.
I thought Drew, for the most part, picked the prizes these days, no? Given how much Drew was making fun of prizes on the show, he was basically given this right. I have no inside info to back this up, however, and, in all likelyhood, is a bad assumption. Then, finally, he makes fun of the Howard Miller-type companies, of the grandfather clocks, sort of. Enough. On a game show, you treat prizes like you would people. If you have nothing but, insults to say, say nothing at all. So I don't call the kettle black, I'll say that is very nice of Drew to give us photos for next season (hopefully!) sometime today, and the blogs are nice, and somewhat resourceful.

Shouldn't it be this way, in all parts of the board? I might disagree with what you say, but, I sure as heck want to hear it. After all, I might agree with you on some points.

Drew was referencing what Mike Richards said, because he had an audition for the position (not Drew).

That's true, but like any performer, he got at least some semblance of an ego, so I'm still pretty sure it's the constant complaining about his performance that's keeping him from talking about us...but I could be wrong

Something tells me a "sports type" display is a lot simpler inside than we would be led to believe. Yes, they do make LED bulbs that can take the place of the incandescent bulbs those displays were originally designed to use. The wiring could also get old, but I would assume that there's someone at CBS who knows how to rewire them.
In short, I think they are the same displays----just updated so they can get a lot more life out of them.

Your most likely right. If I were being talked about on this site in a negative way, I would not acknowledge this site either.

IIRC from earlier in the season that cameras were banned by
anyone
, including the staff. I wonder why all of a sudden Drew can take pictures of everthing?
Probably because he's Drew Carey and the staff is not.

I would think Drew would be smart enough to realize he can just ignore the few who are over the top with their complaints of his performance. I can see why he wouldn't want to come here, but at the same time, you'd think he'd be able to get some constructive criticism in a few places. I know if I was hosting, I'd sure like to see what
the
most loyal fan base had to say about my hosting.

Let me get you some fresh batteries for your sarcasm detector. If you take a joke THAT seriously, maybe there's one reason that Drew doesn't link here.

So...I can't help but noticing we're not in his "Cool Sites I Recommend." Or anywhere in the blog post. That's kinda disappointing.
Latter point maybe, but in the former, keep in mind that sites include TheOnion, RottenTomatoes and Weird Al. I call that irrelevant to Price.

Especially on his own blog. Drew p***** me off a lot on the show, but I'd NEVER post that on his blog. EVER.
