Frank wins the Circular Logic Award, especially since Cookwar could have turned into Iron Chef.  Everybody loves Iron Chef.

Anyway $20,000ish should do it.

All right, and now, rob79, this is your showcase!

Rich:  rob, your showcase features our second annual salute to the Winx Club, and we start with Stella, Princess of Solaria, who is fashion-obsessed, so we're sure she would love this diamond ring.  This invisible setting 0.5 carat diamond bridal ring is absolutely orgeous with I- color and SI clarity, made with ten grams of 14 karot gold.

And we're sure that her Specialist boyfriend Brandon would love to take her on a lovely trip to the Bahamas!  Or more likely, Stella forced him to.  You and a guest will fly round-trip to Nassau of the Bahama Islands via Air Jamaica for a six-night stay at the Holiday Inn, and you'll enjoy the beaches, we guess.

And of course, Bloom and her princely guy Sky would rather take a more low-key vacation, and as such, they might rather take a trip to Carmel!  You and a guest will fly round-trip from Los Angeles to Carmel, California, where you'll spend six nights, and enjoy all the caramel... that is why it's called Carmel, right?

And of course there's Alex, who likes... wait, that's the wrong show.  Get out of here, Alex!

And we're sure our little music-loving Musa would love to give everyone a concert on this fine piano!  The Nord Stage 88 Stage Piano, it's only 35 pounds with a full 88 weighted hammer-action keys, and can produce great piano, organ, and synth sounds with four audio outputs.  And Layla is likely practicing some dance steps to the music Musa is putting out as well.

And Tecna, Flora, and Mirta, feeling rather neglected in this showcase and, for that matter, the actual show, are just going to share their woes at a lovely bar set.  The 475 Mega Bar Wall from Bayview Furniture is great for drinking, and we're pretty sure Magix doesn't have a "must be 21" to drink rule either... I mean, if they're going to show a 17-year-old drinking what's obviously beer, right?

And this showcase, which the Trix are trying to sue us for not including them, can be yours if the price is right!

And rob, what do you bid on all that?

And now, to find out who has won the day's lovely bounty.  rob, you bid $14,750 on your showcase.  And rob, the actual retail price of your showcase is...

$24,000 even, for a difference of?

ding!

$9250.  Now Fire, to win, you must be closer than $9250 without going over.  If you're over, then rob wins, just to make that clear.  And Fire, the actual retail price of your showcase is...

You know, if this weren't typed out, and we were speaking, like on the actual show, people may confuse you with Phire.  Then again, you're a guy, so if they saw us in person, I guess they wouldn't.  Anyway, actual retail price!

Also $24,000 even, Fire, you win!

dingdingdingdingdingdingdingding!

A difference of only $1200 there, good bidding, Fire!

Fire, you have won $53,365 in cash and prizes today, including two brand new automobiles!  It's been a good day for ya'!  Frank here, reminding you to help control the mountain climber population:  just let 'em die.  Goodbye everybody!

BRB_TheFireball:  $53,365
rob79:  $18,999
Vexorg:  $12,675
Gatorman:  $7488
Jordanar18:  $3790
rcbought:  $602

*This is only the third time in the history of this show where the showcase winner came from the second half of the show.  Fire is also the first showcase winner to have played game #5, specifically.  No showcase winner has yet to have played the fourth game.

*And the 15PG here.  Who won?  Well, me kinda', since none of you picked Bump.  For that matter, only one person picked a retired game, period, even though one has been played in every episode since 7.  But forget about me:  with 4 points, for correctly picking Grand Game and Any Number in the right slots, rcbought is the winner!  rcbought, anytime from Episode 16-20, when you sign up, say you'd like automatic entry as one of the first four contestants, and so it shall be!

After Rob's showcase was revealed to be $24,000 even, I had a sneaking suspicion that my showcase would also be $24,000 even.

Aother great show, Frank!  :-)
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Great job as always!  I'm enjoying my Lite Brite & membership in the exclusive FFFBC (Frank's First Four Breakfast Club).  And yeah, I had noticed you liked to have a retired game on your shows which is why I picked Hurdles...but after Bump came out first, I knew I was in trouble because:

1.  It wasn't Golden Road, my first pick.
2.  My pick of Hurdles was gone, as I haven't seen more than one retired game on any of your shows.
3.  With Hurdles gone, it meant you were going to play a GP that I didn't have.
4.  The only reason I didn't pick a cash game was due to the G-R pick; once Bump came, I had a feeling a cash game was coming.

All that from just the first game :-o.  This is why I don't do the normal FPGs :-).

The first showcase was surprisingly easy to make worth exactly $24,000.  The second showcase took me forever to get a combination of prizes that worked, though.  I wasn't intending for it to be a 5-prize showcase, either, but it just kinda' worked that way.

You've really put a lot of thought into that, Britey!  Good job there, and yay for being the one person to put a retired game in your lineup.  Just didn't work out.

Oh well, 1 for 6 on predictions (Cliffhangers, and I think I had it second instead of fifth.  Better than nothing, and I suppose $10,000 isn't bad either.
