I don't think anybody has done a recap of TPIR's 5,000th show as of yet.

No idea, but I decided to go ahead and do a recap anyway.

I don't recap it like Joe Capitano, but hopefully that's OK.

Rod lets everyone know it's the 5000th show.  Standing ovation for Bob.  CBS senior VP Lucy Johnson announces that Studio 33 has been renamed Bob Barker Studio (in the next episode, they begin to announce "From the Bob Barker Studio...").  Bob says it's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for them, and then he asks Rod for the first item up for bid in the Bob Barker Studio.
