That's odd, considering it recommends you update the title as the game progresses in the Rules and Regs thread

5: You should update the subject line of your thread as your episode goes along, to reflect the portion of the game you are currently playing. This will make it easy to allow players to know when they should be ready to make their bids in contestants' row, or in the showcases, or if the current pricing game they're not involved in is just dragging on.

Then again, it also says the rules and regs were lifted directly from the old version of the site, which suggests they simply didn't bother giving users the power to change their own thread titles here.

I'll keep quiet and just watch now. Sorry.

There was an incident on here in 2008 which resulted in members can only edit posts the first 10 minutes after they are posted to the forums.  Moderators and administrators have unlimited editing in the forums where they have the ability to do that.  The rules there were posted in early 2008, before the change took place.
