My gosh does the new home base look spiffy.

Two..well..issues: don't like the font on the Showcase bids (green on blue?  seriously?) and contestant's row looks weird.

VERY excited.
They can be close at the top, too.

Now that I've seen the set in action, via that preview video, I am between liking it a little bit and hating it with a passion.  I think I'm more about hating it with a passion. The colors are horrible, the fonts on the showcase bid displays DID change, and the turntable just looks...bland and without character. While I'm for a little bit of bringing the show into the 21st century, you can do that in ways that make more sense than investing in a whole new set and new electronics. Frankly, you can update the prizes, like they have been for years. You can update the colors on the set a bit. But, what was wrong with the set they had used for years? While I agree it did look a little bit awkward when they made the jump to HD, this was not what I had in mind. The show I knew and loved for all 29 of my years is no more. I will still watch The New Price is Right since it's the closest thing we have to the old show, but frankly, it will never be the same. I think if they had done the Bob Barker stunt this year instead of last year, it would just feel out of place and wrong. I mean, why would Bob come onto another show that isn't, and had never been, his?

Sorry. This LFAT has to give a big thumbs down to the new set and new changes. It's now a completely new show to me, and I will treat it as such from now on.

Wow... after seeing it in action, I like the new home base. The turntable in particular looks really good.

Contestants' Row looks okay... a little weird, but okay. I hate the new look for the showcase bids. They really shouldn't have messed with the Eggcrate.

Also interesting is that under the "Games" section, all of the missing games are included, although there are not pages for most of them yet.

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

Oooh... didn't notice Make Your Mark. That sucks.

You forgot one, though: Shopping Spree, another missing game, is there.

If they kept Home Base in the shades of blue, like when Drew was introducing it, I could live with it. Other than that, it looks ugly. Don't like the showcase fonts either.

Watch the videos! Some of them are great, and not only that, some of them are plain funny & silly!

Man! Season 38 looks like it's going to be a GREAT ONE!

Well, I think they could have gone with a different color scheme for the turntable pattern, they could have had green carpet or something to offset the blue and purple, but I love how it flashes sequentially like say the old Jeopardy! sign.  The new podiums don't look substantial like the old ones do (but hey, this is a world where everything is downsizing and becoming more efficient).  Also, the color scheme of the monitors of the showcase podiums is a bit hard to read.

But other than that, I am very much looking forward to this new season!

It probably should go without saying, but I'll say it.

The new website contains SPOILERS-A-PLENTY

And I only say it because there are some members who take their "non-spoiler" attitudes very seriously.

Otherwise, the new site does look fantastic!!

I mean, why would Bob come onto another show that isn't, and had never been, his?

Like he did with his appearances on the Today Show, and WWE Raw?....
