Absolutely THRILLING Show!!!  THIS my friends was reminiscent of some of Bob's best days!  Probably the BEST show that Drew has ever done!!!!  Amazing!  Now, THIS IS THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!

If Drew could host like this consistently, there would no longer be need to compare him to what Bob used to do.

Quote
My God...Drew was practically channeling Bob today.  He did some great buildups in Cover Up, More or Less, the Showcase...just a great performance.  I wish he were like this every day.

Cover Up: Smack me several times with that dipstick for losing this game by picking 0. I will ask for more.

grand game: i wouldve picked the gel with confidence but was at first confused with the cleaner and the cereal

Flip Flop: Shoot. Again with the only-sure-Flopping-but-should-have-also-Fipped routine.

More or Less: I got tripped by the crystal stemware again. However, I was not fooled by the Apple.

One Bid 5: $800 for some crates? Some of those (like the ones on the lower right) are milk crates that you can find in the alley. (Well, that's just me.) I can understand Jamie O bidding only $100 for them, but just a little higher. I thought it was some kind of joke or something.

Bonkers: I had this very, very brief feeling (just before Rich said "Vancouver") it would be a trip to somewhere in Canada. Still a great play.

Switch?: Without watching (and eying the extra Switch? logo on the monitor in the center during the first playback), I would have already made my decision not to switch.

Showcases: I thought both Kimberly and David overbidded, especially Kimberly with her $39,500 bid. I guess some of us wanted David to bid $1. Regardless of the differences, the results were still the same.
[Oops. I totally forgot/didn't know the car was a Corvette. That kinda changes everything for me.]

Honestly, I was getting afraid we'd never see a corvette offered again for some time!

Is it really that big a deal that someone from one part of Canada won a trip to another part of Canada?  That's like someone from New York winning a trip to Seattle.  What if he's never been to Vancouver?  It's on the other side of the country you know.

Anyway, definitely best show of the year and certainly won of Drew's best.

Cover Up: A great way to open the show, with a win!

Grand Game: Sweet ending to this game, with the first $10,000 win of Season 38!

Flip Flop: What a shame!

SCSD1: Sweet digging going on there, with $11,000 won on the Wheel!

More or Less: Don't you hate it when they lose at the third prize???

Bonkers: Only one try to win??? Sweet!

Switch?: Nice surprise to see the plasma screen with Switch?'s logo on it. And a nice win to go with it!

Showcases: I knew that Corvette Showcase was seriously underbid on.

Already, this season is a vast improvement over Season 37, and Drew might even outdo his performance in Season 36.

I tell you what, this show was just plain awesome! There was so much energy going on throughout the entire time, easily my favorite episode of Season 38 so far! (Oh, and CBS.com is showing an advertisement...looks like our friend Wayne may be making a visit sometime soon! ;))

Actually, no, most of us don't.  To people in the United States, Canada is Canada, even if we're talking about someone from Prince Edward Island going to the Yukon.  It's not fair, but it's generally the way we think about it.

Well, it's more the idea that he had to leave Canada to win a trip to Canada.  It would be like someone from New York winning a trip to Seattle while on vacation in Toronto.

I thought Roger mentioned on Stu's Show that the "from Los Angeles" was just for consistent pricing.  The show will fly you to your destination from a more convenient city.
New TPiR Announcer: Gilbert Gottfried.  See?  Things *can* be worse.

Did anyone else notice that on at least two occasions David's mouth was "blurred out" while he was in Contestants' Row?  Both times it was after someone else won and went up on stage; despite his smile, it seems like he may have been muttering some explitives about not winning!

I also forgot to add that it was great to hear them use the MG/HS Hour theme in the Corvette showcase.  Seemed appropriate for that showcase, albeit unusual; ever since Super Ball's retirement, we typically only hear it in the Showcases when they're describing home gym equipment, or in pricing games for cars.

Yay for my home province getting a mention!

Back on topic, this was definitely a good episode with 4 wins and over $100,000 being won.
