Master Key: I always love to see contestants get the Master Key! Fantastic way to open the show!

Race Game: This is not the Walking Game, it's the Race Game! I knew he took way too long to make just three guesses.

Push Over: Good call stopping at $3041.

Freeze Frame: Another friggin' loss...

(It's) in the Bag: Good call stopping at the first bag.

Lucky $even: What an evil, evil price!

Showcases: Emily wins a lot of loot, with two trips to boot!

Despite the two wins and a bailout, not a bad show.

Yay!  Master Key! :P It's great to see it lead off the show for a change.  Just like the good old days.  And a win with the master key doesn't hurt, either.

It may be a new season, but I'm still sick of seeing Race Game.  Bring back Take Two, dammit!

Yay!  Lucky Seven 6th! :P

Did my ears deceive me, or did Drew slip and actually call It's in the Bag by its proper name during SCSD2?

My showcase bids:
Egypt/China--$16,107
Bedroom/snowmobile--$15,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

The prize reveal for Master Key was not as exciting as is usually is because of the loss of the old song that used to play.

Did anyone else notice the "Oh" sounds coming out of Drew when Emily just missed the Dollar on the Wheel in the first SS? That reminded of me Bob right there.

Anyways, another good show.

Key:  SHE GOT THE MASTER KEY!  We finally see if Emily won and now know she did, as Drew could not remember on his appearance at Craig Ferguson's show. :-)

Race Game:  Israel went WAY TOO SLOW.  I'm pretty sure he burned 3 or 4 seconds between the first price tag he placed and the second.  I hate it when slow people play the Race Game!

Push:  I thought $4198 was right.  I would have lost this one.  Cara played this tough setup quite well. ;-)

SCSD1:  Darn!  I really wanted Cara to win, as she was a part of the Class of 2009 (as was I).  Still fairly exciting and nerve-racking to see so many spin-offs during one SCSD!

Freeze:  Another tough setup!  Nothing ending in -33 screamed at me!

Bag:  As someone who patronizes Kroger often, I knew that Kroger veggie tray was $9.99.  As soon as I spotted the Kroger logo, I knew that price!  I believe I could've won this today knowing that price.  I was glad to see Clayton leave with something, as $1,000 is probably a lot more than he came with. :-)

L7:  Well, let's just say I would have lost on the third number.  Rachelle fared much, much better than I in her playing, although it was unfortunate she lost.  Very tough setup today.

Show Scorecard:

Lineup: 7/10.
Drew: 10/10.  Excellent job!  Paraphrasing Ace Ventura, "Drew is Bob!  Bob is Drew!  Drew is the man!" (bad joke, but that's all I have for now ;-))
Contestants: 10/10.
Showcases: 6/10.
Music Cues: 6/10.  We got 0200A, 0255, and one of the '83 trip cues today, which is pretty awesome in my book!  Hopefully they start using the '72 and '74 stuff again.  I don't think we really have to worry about them getting rid of the '76 stuff. ;-)

Overall:
With music cue grade: C+
Weighted and without music cue grade: B

Final Comments:
Today was a good show.  I never like to see losses, but that's something we're going to have to get used to with all the tough setups.  Nice to see the hotties scoring on today's show, but that's best saved for another thread. ;-)

No kidding here - the crew must have found Roger's knack for lineups - the last two days + Monday's second have had very Roger-esque lineups.  Monday's Shell Game sixth exceptionally.

And c'mon.  Big Banana for Master Key.  Today's reveal lost ALL its gusto without it.
They can be close at the top, too.

This show really fizzled out in the 2nd half.

-Key: Nice. 9/10
-Racey: Booooooooo... 7/10
-Pushy: Good :) 9/10
-SD1: 5/5 a bit lucky on the re-do =/
-Freezy: Since when is a hot tub that low 8/10 :(
-Baggy: I felt this was really hard today. 8/10
-L7: And hard as usual 8/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: Cool trips! 4.5/5
-SC2: Splendido that wasn't too bad, but underwhelming. 4/5
-Results: Some subpar bids here. 7.5/10
-Drew: 8/10

81 --> B-
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I'm gonna start grading the shows, as it seems to be easier for me to get my thoughts out that way.

Master Key: Awesome playing, and really good job by Drew! Loses a point for no Big Banana. 9/10
Race Game: Nice to have the classic cue there, but really just a crappy playing. Drew was fine. 6/10
Push Over: Nice playing! I thought for sure $4198 was right. Shows what I know, and again, Drew was great! Gets an extra point for that awesome '83 trip cue! 11/10
Freeze Frame: Eh, nothing really notable here. Drew was fine. 7/10
It's in the Bag: Drew loses a point for saying "In the Bag." That was a pretty tough playing, but the contestant was smart to bail out. 7/10
Lucky $even: Very tough set-up, so you can't really blame her for losing. 7/10

Showcase 1: The photography theme worked pretty well, and Rich did no annoying questioning! Yay! 9/10
Showcase 2: Decent, non-offense Splendido - speaking of that, Stan, please play Splendido! But loses a point for no car today. 8/10

Drew: Another great job today! 9/10

Overall: 73/90 = 81% = B-

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

Master Key:  Nice win, but what happened to Big Banana?
Race Game:  Waaaaaaaaay too slow!
It's In The Bag:  Good move taking the $1,000.  I wonder where Clayton buys Mazola vegetable oil.

Pretty good show overall, IMHO.

I saw the extra episode first (I get it EARLY at 9am ET), and that listed a Scion xB at $18,465 on Temptation. That threw me off a bit when it showed up here on Lucky Seven. But I still had a buck to buy the car.

2/6 personally on pricing games. Good bid on SC1, but just as good OVER on SC2. (Or was it the other way around? I forgot...)

Master Key: Always good to see someone get the master key. Great way to start the show off.

Race Game: people don't understand that they need to run.

Pushover: I honestly thought it was $4198.  :-?

Freeze Frame: tough loss.

It's in the Bag: Smart move taking the bailout.  :-)

L7: Other than the number 9, I guess it's not too evil a price.

Showcases: Decent showcases.

Good show today. Adam must be channeling  :clipboard: with these lineups lately. They have been fantastic lately.

That was certainly a great decision to bail out at $1,000 in IITB. That set up looked pretty difficult in my opinion. An okay show overall, but the season is still young, so I'm sure there are better shows ahead.

Pretty average show today - went downhill after the big Key win (aside from our first double OT of the season). Nice to see Key show up 1st again (GREAT lineup overall today, and really long too - 29 minutes! - I just don't get Adam), but where was the Big Banana? This game really loses its punch without it. Another solid job by Drew hosting. Note the timings for Bag - this may be the shortest you'll ever see it (good old 1k bailouts will do that). Wonder how much they would have chopped this show up if Bag had gone long today.

Timings:
Intro - 1:08
Master Key - 4:39
Race Game - 4:47
Push Over - 3:23
Freeze Frame - 2:32
It's In The Bag - 4:15
Lucky $even - 3:45
Total: 24:29

I'm going to echo the sentiment that I've read lately on these boards: Drew was literally channeling Bob! I've never seen him go through Master Key that comfortably, I've never seen him actually hurrying the contestant like that in Race Game, and the showcases reveals were simply done the Barker way! Just the way he actually read the card, then said "For a difference of", and waited for the difference. That was just beautiful!

Not sure if they ever done this, but it's the first time I noticed. During the Parade of Prizes at the end, they actually put the car that Emily won in Master Key along with the two trips. I thought that they only revealed the Showcase prizes... I thought it was neat!

Master Key: Yes, Emily. One key opens the hot dog maker, one key for the cookie cutters, and one key for the car. And you get three keys. Yes, Emily. You're an LFaT for knowing how to play this game.
[Whether you know how to play the game or not, as long as you have the Master Key, you're in for a win.]

Race Game: Yes, Israel. You can glance at the audience for help on this game.
[Could have gotten another chance or two.]

Push Over: Missed it somehow....

Freeze Frame: If only 52 and 94 were switched, I would have so froze it there. But my money was on 5233. I just had this feeling the price starts with 52.

in the bag: the only thing good was the bailout

One Bid 6: "No sofa for Mitchell."

Lucky Seven: Those 9s are killers again.

Showcases: My DVR messed up again. I think it did not get Push Over nor the Showcase results. Thanks, cbs.com.
Yes, Emily did have a good day.
