The energy level of the show was maintained by the 2nd & 5th games today, despite a lack of wins. Thanks contestants!!

-Coggy: *shoots Peanut Gallery* 7/10
-A#: This was really, really awesome. I remembered 465 and 9.80 has been used as the bank before, so I had it as 21372 before he filled in the 2 and 7. He definitely has familiarity with the show so it is a shame that a brand new car came with a really different price, although he did say 5/0 early on, so maybe he's not as up to things as we are or, as he referenced, forgot that tidbit while playing. Still, this was really really great - 9/10 special for a loss
-OWP: Yeah, that wasn't a Mac. 8/10
-SD1: Wooooooooooo-hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! 6/5 special for reaction
-H/L: I thought the oil looked the highest left, but 3.99 / 4.99 / 5.99 is pretty squeezed too. 8/10
-Tempty: Good decision. Still no leniency at all - even when she doesn't go -95 for once it's never -9- either! My goodness. 8/10
-Rangey: There's -65... -065. Weird. But a very fair setup, thanks Greco! 9/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: A definite pass, nothing too special. 4/5
-SC2: Ignoring "actreevities", I really liked the theme here. 4.5/5
-Results: Awwwwwwwww... a shame, he had a decent idea on the treehouse and India, but he still garfed. Also surprised 1 wasn't so high. Good job Andrew, you're COTY material even with only your IUFB and $1000! 8.5/10
-Drew: I also credit the energy level staying up here as well. :) 9/10

PGs: 49/60
SDs: 10/10
SCs: 17/20
Drew: 9/10

85 --> B
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

This was a lackluster game-wise show made good by the contestants, especially Andrew.  Good way to get rid of the skunk at the end. Also nice to see somebody bail out on Temptation for once.

And I too liked the treehouse showcase.

4/6 on the pricing games, but overbid one of the showcases.

Also, seeing the xB on Temptation on this one threw me off when it was on Lucky Seven on the 11am show (since I see the extra episode earliest of all, at 9am ET).

I think this episode illustrated why Price shouldn't run twice a day - we saw repeating prizes (the Scion, albeit with different options), and repeating games (e.g. Coming or Going).

Yeah, I know that these shows were meant for next week... but even so, having two first-run episodes a day for a week - stuff is bound to repeat within the week.

You also have to admit that Drew made some good buildups in Coming or Going and Any Number, however they were slightly botched. But the interesting part was that they weren't botched because of Drew. In CoG the Oh Mighty sound effects lady hit the buzzer by like 0.3 seconds early before Drew ended his sentence and in Any # the last pick was shown slightly early before Drew finished. Great job though Drew!

Coming or Going: Should’ve avoided the peanut gallery.  :-?

Any Number: Contestant of the year material!  I was hoping he would get the car.

One Wrong Price: Tough loss.

SCSD #1:

Hi Lo: I knew it had to be the motor oil.

O.B. #5: I have to say, I really like the tetris-looking backdrop.  :-)

Temptation: Is this the first time we’ve had a trip as a prize in Temptation? I kinda liked how the guitar guy had the price tag taped on the guitar. I’m glad she took the prizes.

Range Game: Nice win.

Showcases: Decent showcases.

Good show today. Andrew was definitely contestant of the day, as well as a contestant of the year contender.

No--not even in the Drew Carey era.

Another average show built up a bit by Andrew, who is just one of those unique contestants you really hope to get. Nice to see some real genuine emotion all throughout the show (and he seemed to have some genuine logic going on behind his showcase bid, but can't blame him for garfing that random showcase) - too bad he only has his IUFB and $1000 to show for it. Also, who in the world would even want that random treehouse showcase? They probably should have thrown something non tree house related in. Talk about an odd showcase - glad I didn't have to try CSS for real on that. Hi Lo was pretty fair today for a change but still lost; One Wrong Price, on the other hand, was ridiculous. All ending in -99 or -98? I never want to see that again; that'd fool even an LFAT.

Timings:
Coming Or Going - 2:29
Any Number - 4:56
One Wrong Price - 3:44
Hi Lo - 4:27
Temptation - 6:23
Range Game - 3:07
Total: 25:06

Coming or Going: I just wanted a number that ended with a 9 somewhere. 8939 was a possibility--just not the right one.

Any Number: I was wrong that the 6 would be in the price of the car, but was right about the 3. Bittersweet?

One Wrong Price: Ha! I was right about the computer. (Actually, I just felt that the other two prices were right for those prizes.)

hi lo: i wouldve tried the motor oil instead of the lipstick

Temptation: Why do I have this thing about the vehicles in the game ending in a 5? I think I just do. Another instance where the bailout is the far better choice than going for the car.

Range Game: Well, Paula escaped, won fragrances to rub Skunky's (and Mimi's) face with, and gave us an outright win. Spritz in the trailer.

Good playing of Range Game in this episode, which resulted in the only PG win of this episode. With just that one PG win, that made this show a bit of a disappointment. Maybe we can do better tomorrow.

Coming or Going: Nothing special here. 7/10
Any Number: Played very well, and Andrew was a great contestant that fell victim to a tricky set-up. 8.5/10
One Wrong Price: Blah... 6/10
Hi-Lo: Knew this was going to be lost... really not played well at all. 6/10
Temptation: Smart move taking the gifts - although really the set-up here was not too difficult. 7.5/10
Range Game: I can't decide if that was meant to be won or not - either way, nice job. 8/10
Showcase 1: Very average. Not too great. 7/10
Showcase 2: A very weird theme, but it was executed pretty well. 8.5/10
Drew: Another solid performance. 8.5/10

67/90 - 74% - C

Not too great. Let's do better tomorrow.

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

Temptation maintains its losing streak, now at 23 straight losses.  It's one of three games that has not been won since Bob was around (2/13/07 to be exact).  [The other two are Step Up and Golden Road.]  Maybe next time...

It was won in primetime.  My previous post referred to the daytime show.  I should have mentioned that. :-)

No--not even in the Drew Carey era.

Actually I thought there was a trip last season. I do in fact remember that there was a trip offered in the Bob era, however I believe it was in one of the early MDSs or one of the Primetime Armed Forces Specials.
