Overall, good show

One of the worst playings of 10 Chances in a long time.  The contestamt ignored the zero rule and it cost her dearly.

I saw from the 3rd game to the end. Overall, it looked to me like a pretty good show.

I actually went to high school with Gregory - City Honors School in Buffalo - so it was great to see him win the Showcase Showdown and then his Showcase (which I thought was pretty nice. I liked the other showcase too - the way the screens were set up was cool.

That playing of Ten Chances was BAD! I was shaking my head the entire time, and thinking about what Roger said in his most recent interview on the Stu Show about 10 Chances and letting the contestant think for as long as they wanted instead of Bob's "10 second rule." Luckily, it seemed as if the contestant was fairly prompt in giving her crazy prices!

-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: A FRATs undisguised... 4/5

Loved Darlene in the Dice Game  An all "sunny" Grocery Game.  I thought Gregory was a bit of a ham, but I still liked him!

My favorite contestants of the day were Darlene and Gregory.

I believe this is also the first time Cliff Hangers has been played first on the daytime show.

Darlene. Awesome at Dice Game. Terrible at the Showcase Showdown.

Then whoever played 10 Chances. God, that's the worst-played game I have ever seen.

Cliff Hangers: 1st? That in itself made this playing excellent(Though wiping out on the iron, not so much).

Dice Game was set up for an easy loss but Darlene was lucky with her rolls.

Ten Chances was absolutely terrible. To all future players of the game....REMEMBER the zero rule.

Showcases: :gotc: on both.

Overall grade: B
2015-16 Big One Tracker: 65(3 PRIMETIME & 2 WIPEOUTS)
2016-17 Big One Tracker: 60
2017-18 Big One Tracker: 11

We need more trailers.

I don't understand why Ten Chances is being made to look ridiculously hard these days. This just doesn't go with the contestants (Lisa predictably neglected the zero rule) but the prizes as well. Putting a "5" or "9" will make the game even more difficult, especially to those who haven't seen the show before.

Cliff Hangers isn't a hard game either but today's wipeout was just painful to watch. On the flip side, Darlene handled Dice Game really well, as did Andrew with Grocery Game.

I enjoyed seeing Gregory win that Mini Cooper in the showcase as well.

Cliff Hangers: $50 for an iron!? Seriously!?  :headbang:

Dice Game: She almost 1 and 6'd her way to the car. But thankfully she guessed the 4th number in the right direction.

Double Prices: Cool to see it at the front of the stage again. Was thinking $7597 as well.

Most Expensive: Those deceptive handbags rear their ugly heads again!

10 Chances: :headbang: :headbang:

Grocery Game: All of that sun got him a retro-kitchen! Cool!

Showcases I didn't get to watch. But still... it was a cool show.

Cliff Hangers: That iron: sssssssssssssssssssssssssssss Yodelly Guy: "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooouuuuuccccccchhhh!"

Dice Game: Something tells me the camera guy knew the number was higher than 2 because of the zoom-in.

Double Prices: I don't know what it is: is it how the game was staged, or how Drew and Gregory held hands and said "Alakazam!", or how Rachel did the honors with the button? Whatever the spectacle, it was still a sight to watch.

Most Expensive: I just felt like picking the bags because they are designer bags. Drat. So close.

Ten Chances: I hope Lisa's performance of this game does not affect our bid. [chuckle]

grocery game: would not have known it was a sun brand theme because of the lack of brand name use

Showcases: That pool/dining table is a good prize.

I never really thought of this before, but a Cliff Hangers wipeout isn't that bad a way to start an episode. :)

Dice Game was absolutely awesome.  It's hard to think of a way that that could have been more exciting.

Double Prices facing away from the audience still bothers me.

I guess we can finally say definitively that the goofy zigzags are gone from Most Expensive.  That's a good thing.

Ten Chances was played really, really badly.  Drew handled it surprisingly well...but man, that was some pathetic playing.

Yay for Scott getting mentioned on the air!

They finally came up with a neat way to use the video screens during the first showcase.  I noticed something odd, too -- every trip was revealed on the screen at the front, with Lanisha moving back to the second one during the prize copy so that she could come forward to the next destination afterward.  It was odd, but it worked well enough.

Cliff Hangers: I hate to see any game lost, but Cliffy wipeouts are always entertaining.

Dice Game: I liked Rich’s close-up of the 5 being lit up.  ;D

Double Prices: Nice Win. (and a Bob reference)  :oldlol:

Most Expensive: those designer bags threw me way off.

Ten Chances: The magic marker that they’ve used since the day the game debuted. (1975).

:headbang: :headbang: appropriately sums up the gameplay.

Grocery Game: Very nice.

Showcases: That pool/dining room table looked cool.

Wink87 is right. We have a historic moment! Cliff Hangers was played first for the first time! (that we know of!)
