Well, here, I thought we would see a friendly Lucky Seven price of $24,365.  I was wrong.

I thought that Ericka had lost One Away and the price would be $18,463.  I was wrong again.

Yay!  Half-Off cue in 1RP! :P

One thing that most everybody knows is the bane of my CSS existence is whenever a model of car make its very first appearance on TPIR.  I either :gotc: or :wotc: .  Today, we had the RAV4.  I've never priced them, so that showcase's price was a total crapshoot for me.  Surprisingly, I posted a good bid on it.

SC1, on the other hand... what the hell was in that showcase that was $10,000 more than it should've been?

My showcase bids:
Room/Aussie--$25,107
Car--$30,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

It's In The Bag:  I thought for sure the lint roller would be in the $3.99 bag.  Good thing Samantha walked!
Lucky Seven:  That last number was evil!
Showcases:  About the price of Michael's showcase - WHAT!? :-o :-o  I was shocked when I heard the price!

Pretty good show overall, IMHO.

Coming in very late here after a couple long days...I noticed that after the incident with Sheena in One Away during Season premiere week, Drew conducted the "Oh mighty sound effects lady routine" much closer to the way Bob used to run "Ladies, do I have at least one number right?" on this episode.  It worked a lot better with him acting like he was taking it seriously.

(I'm sure there were other things I wanted to say, too, but almost a day after the fact, this is the only one I can remember. :P)

Hooray for Turtle Wax!!!  Castrol GTX motor oil reappeared late last season (in Pick-A-Pair), and now Turtle Wax (in It's in the Bag)!  Now, if only they gave both of them with a car (just like the mid-1970s).

Three PG wins in this episode make it a good episode in my opinion. And even better, one of those wins was in One Away, and wins in that game are always nice to see.

It is so nice to see and giveaway a Toyota RAV4 in the showcase.  It is my favorite car!
