Most Expensive:  Uh, the game's called Most Expensive, Heather!
SCSD#1:  All right!  A $25,000 winner! Awesome!
Any Number:  Well, it could've been worse, and you know what I mean by that.

Overall, I'm gonna go pretty good for this one, IMHO.

-Lineup: I didn't really mind the lack of GP for today, but it did come out very short, so I dunno.
-Freezy: Wow, lucky. 9/10
-Pathy: ...Yeah, it kind of just happened. 8/10
-ME: Wow, fail. 7/10
-SD1: WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP 7/5
-Pushy: Umm....wow. 7/10
-A#: Aww....close, very close. 8/10
-Balance: Japan has gone up on us. 8/10
-SD2: 5/5, although I'm tempted to keep it at 4 - she totally abused the rules to get that
-SCs: 2 was great! 1...the usual. 9/10
-Results: Not the worst bids today - that's pretty good on 2. But most importantly, Peter cleans house!!! 9/10
-Drew: Everything was usual besides an odd ending to Freezy. 8/10

PGs: 49/60
SDs: 12/10 *high of season*
SCs: 18/20
Drew: 8/10

87 --> B+
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I think the string quartet was worse than the mariachi band.

No they weren't. Best non traditional rendition of the Price theme I've heard. Very classy.

Now all we need is the late Alastair Cooke to introduce the show.

Freeze Frame: Nice win.

O.B. #2: It’s nice to see a model model a guitar instead of a special guest.

Pathfinder: At least it’s not a wipeout like the last time. But, man, that was a tough setup.  :-?

Most Expensive: Apple = $$$$$

SCSD #1: Boy, we’ve had a lot of dollar wins on the wheel….but Peter got us our first $26,000 win of the season (that we know of)! Very nice!  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Pushover: $4515 just stood out to me.

Any Number: Oh, boy, now Any Number is being infected by the dreaded cheap designer crap.  :-? If only she said 4 instead of 8…

Balance Game: Tough loss.

SCSD #2: Yeesh, what’s with all the puny spins?

Showcases: Wow, those showcases were packed today!  :D

Decent show today. The lineup could have been a little better with a GP game though.

Fireball wants that inflatable golf course.

Yay!  Classic trip cue/closed captioning plug! :P

Yay!  Pathfinder! :P Kathy definitely did not want that Mustang won.

Another DiPirro WIN going into SCSD 1.

Woohoo!  We finally got a $26,000 winner!

Yay!  Half-Off cue! :P

Did a GP game break down today?  Because Pushover should never be played for a room of furniture.

Yay!  A Toyota Camry!  Manufactured in Georgetown, KY--less than 20 minutes from my doorstep.

And another DiPirro WIN going into SCSD 2.

A string quartet?!  WTF?!  This was worse than the mariachi band yesterday.

My showcase bids:
Paris--$18,507
Hybrid--$37,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Pathfinder---I smelled some traps for some of those SPs.  I was glad Dorothy nailed all three.  No comment on the result--the price was nasty for that f($&&@ mustang.

Most Expensive---I apparently agreed with Heather on that playing....

SCSD 1: I love $26,000 wins in the showdown.

Push Over: I thought 4515, along with other people in the chatroom.

Any Number: That was too close for Sandra.  The price wasn't friendly in my honest opinion for the Camry.  I also debated on the 4 or 5 as well.

Balance Game: Had that Japan trip gone $12,000 I would have walked out in anger.  Fortunately it wasnt.  My guess was 9000.

Meyoshe I felt was a terrible spinner.  2 Puny spins?!

Showcases: Peter really cleaned up today and I'm glad he did!  Unfortunately for my bids, it couldn't be the same...

Wow, way too many trips in way too many different places today -- one in the first game, one in the sixth game, one in the first showcase, and one in the second showcase.  That's beyond ridiculous.

The inflatable golf...um...thingy reminded me more of Super Ball!! than of Hole in One.

Pathfinder was shaping up to be one helluva comeback.  Too bad it didn't pan out.

Those asterisks in Most Expensive fit in a whole lot better than the zigzag thingies.

Many weird things about the fourth game today:

#1.)  There was no grocery item game.
#2.)  Push Over was played for a living room.
#3.)  Push Over is also on the next episode.

It makes me wonder if Push Over was a sub...and it if was, that makes me wonder why they didn't bring in something like Coming or Going, Pick-a-Number, or Blank Check instead.  (Just for the record, I have no reason to believe Blank Check is retired.)

How the hell are you supposed to bid on a private chef and a string quartet?  These people are finally starting to have some clue of how to work most of the pricing games, but they're clearly still fumbling around in the dark on the Showcase.

Something bothers me about Meoshe winning $1,000 after not getting her first two spins all the way around.  There's absolutely no reason rule-wise not to give her the money, but it really doesn't feel like she earned it.

Speaking of strange things, airing episodes drastically out of order can have unintended side effects.  For instance, they can cause Christmas showcases to air two days before Halloween.
