*dramatic pause*

Bingo!

*DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING*

Thanks for playing Kitch, you were very close.

Step on over here, Flerbert.   You've already won an entertainment unit and a 7-night stay at the Gaia Retreat, and you now have the opportunity to win over $109,000 worth of prizes in the Showcase!  Let me just recap the Showcase prizes for you, in order of appearance:

- Replica Ship Model of "The Batavia"
- Cruise of the South Caribbean
- Digital Camera Package (Camera + Underwater Housing)
- Water Fountain Glass Panel
- Spa
- Pair of Fishing Rods & Reels
- Wakeboarding Package (Wakeboard + Boots + Vest)
- Sea-Doo 230 Wake Boat

Now here's where things get tricky.  You need to place the prizes in order from least expensive at number 1 to most expensive at number 8.   I'll give you a helping hand by locking in that Wake Boat as the most expensive.   *DING*   There we go, it's locked in.

Audience, you are welcome to participate and help Flerbert out.

Flerbert, please order the remaining items from least expensive to most expensive.

From the audience:

1. Rod and Reels
2. Camera
3. Wakeboard Package
4. Replica
5. Water Fountain
6. Spa
7. Cruise
8. Ski Boat.

I am not sure about this but that what I would go with.

I suggest:

1. Rods & Reels
2. Wakeboarding Gear
3. Camera
4. Water Fountain
5. Replica
6. Spa
7. Cruise
8. Boat
Quote
I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

Hmmm...this is strictly a guess, but here goes:

1. Rod & Reels
2. Camera
3. Wakeboarding Equipment
4. Replica
5. Water Fountain
6. Spa
7. Cruise
8. Boat

This is so complicated... :-?

Glad I'm not playing this show, since the Australians tend to have harder games than the Americans.

Okay, everything is now locked in.  Flerbert, you could be just moments away from walking away with over $118,000 worth of prizes today.

Let's turn the lights down and see how you've gone.

You thought those fishing rods and reels were the least expensive and the audience seemed to agree.  Light them up please.

*DING*

938.  That looks pretty good.

Let's move down now to the model ship.  Light it up please.

*DING*

$3760.  That seems to look okay.

You went against the audience with the cruise and spa.  Let's have a look at the price of that Caribbean cruise

*DING*

Almost $10,000!  That sure would make a nice holiday.

We'll leave the spa for a moment and move back up to the wakeboarding package.  Let's light that one up.

*DING*

Ooh, $1418.  You're looking a little worried now, Flerbert.

Let's go back to the spa and see if you made a good choice there.

*DING*

Yes!  That's what we like to see.  Just a shade under $11,000 and you are just two more prizes away from winning this fabulous showcase.

Flerbert you went with the majority by placing the camera package at number two.  We need it to squeeze between the rods and reels and the wakeboarding package.   Light it up please.

*DING*

Wow would you look at that!  $1208 and it fits like a glove!

Flerbert, you have won an entertainment unit; you have won a 7-night stay Retreat package.   You are now so close to winning that showcase and walking away from the studio today with over $118,000 worth of prizes.

That water fountain over there needs to be somewhere between 3760 dollars and 9398 dollars for you to win.

For the final time today, please light it up.

*BZZZZZT*

Ohhhhh!

Flerbert, I'm so sorry.  How close were you!?   You just needed to swap the water fountain with the model ship.

Never mind, you've still won over $9,000 worth of prizes today.   Our lovely Danielle will take you over to the showcase.

So we've had some nice wins today and an unfortunate, heartbreaking loss at the end there.  Can't win them all I'm afraid.  See you next time on the Australian Price Is Right!   Game Over...
