the episode aired in January 1986, season 3, second set.

the previous episode was a celebrity special, and one of the contestants was Iva Zanicchi, who would host the show for the following 13 years.   Incidently, Iva's Let's Make A Deal taped in that very same studio.

in 1986 Iva Zanicchi hosted the only Italian season of LMAD in daytime.  The purpose of this was to see if Iva was good at hosting a game similar to TPIR.   Evidently she was 

a variation of the LMAD game returned in 1992 as the game portion of a variety show hosted by Gerry Scotti.
