My own picture Avatar Help?
« on: September 17, 2009, 11:55:57 AM »
Is this the right area to start this thread to get help or something please?

I changed my avatar last week, and now I can't see the picture except the red "x" like I did before with avatars I had before (Mickey by trading card of Bob Barker).  and I right-click to set to "show picture" but doesn't work.  Does anyone know the way I can see fix it?  It's the one of me w/ Weird Al Yankovic, BTW?

Thanks!   :-?

Which option did you select to set the avatar? Did you upload it somewhere else, or tell the site where the picture was on your computer (thus uploading it to the site itself)?

I used my own pictures, then browse where my pictures are in my Windows system and uploaded it.

What I would do is try re-uploading it. The file may have gotten corrupted somewhere in transit or maybe accidentally deleted from Golden-Road.net.

If that doesn't work, try uploading it to http://www.imageshack.us/ and using the "hosted on another site" option to link to it.

I think that Photobucket is the better option for that Imageshack has caused me trouble over the past several years.
