I thought this was interesting for the "thrice married" angle.  I hear so many people say inane things like "but s/he can't be gay - they're married!"  Jeez, how ignorant is that?

Some people have a harder time accepting or even realizing that about themselves than others and can live in denial for the longest time.  Take me for instance.  I was 20 before it finally sunk in.  Some people know it early on, others don't get it until later.  People just make assumptions based on what's been pounded into their heads their whole lives.  I think one day mankind will finally completely get it, but we're not there yet.
