Two things struck me about today's show:

1.  In the Easy as 1-2-3 reveal, Drew drew it out ("So you walk into a shop, see a bike you like, ask the salesman how much is it, salesman SAYS...!").  This was a REALLY good way to do this reveal Bob-style without copying The Man.  Kudos Drew!

2.  In the ending, they had the Mini Cooper behind Door #1, and then inside Door #2 was a green car (I missed James' game so my assumption is that this is that he won in Any Number).  Is that the new standard, to show all a contestant's winnings during the closing or is this just something they did off the cuff?
Bazinga!

Four wins out of six today. A much better performance than yesterday's show. Let's hope that this is the end of the bad luck streak.

Nice to get a decent number of wins today, and for the most part, the games weren't too evil.

Drew was at the top of his game today. Really strong performance in pretty much every single game.

The first showcase was almost a normal skit showcase. That was really good. But knowing what we know now, did anyone else get kind of sad hearing the Port o' Price music there?

Very good show today.

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

I think that if a contestant wins two cars now, they display them both. If he had won, say, a dining room set in addition to the car, they wouldn't have shown that. I think they just do it when multiple cars are won.

Only when a contestant wins more than one car have I seen this done.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I think even if they win only one car that was won during a pricing game the crew brings it back out.

Well maybe it was the power of Terry and it being the 1-year anniversary of the exacta that did it, but today's show was the best we've seen in ages. Drew seemed to really care today and did a great job throughout the show (good contestant interaction all day long, that nice nice buildup in Eazy, even that showcase was well written and a throwback to showcase skits of old, only involving the models instead of contestants. We LIKE these kind of showcases, Drew! Write more!). Throw in the fact the setups were a little less evil than normal today, we got ourselves some winners - the show had a nice vibe to it throughout.

Does anyone else think though that that trip to Alaska is the most ridiculous trip they've ever offered on the show? I mean, who wants to stay in an igloo made of ice? Seriously, I laughed out loud when I saw that. Next thing you know it'lll be "It's a lovely trip to SIBERIA! You and a guest will fly from Los Angeles to Siberia. And stay there. Forever. We don't want you here. It's a terrific trip worth $52,000!"

I could really begin to get used to Cliff Hangers as a 1st game. Easy wins are a great way to start things off, and Cliffy frequently provides them.

Timings:
Cliff Hangers (4.5)- 4:26
Money Game (4.5)- 3:52
Eazy as 123 (4)- 4:07
Double Prices (3)- 3:03
It's In The Bag (6.5) - 5:24
Any Number (5) - 4:07
Total time (27.5): 24:59

I enjoyed watching today show it was great & Drew did a wonderful job today.

I give today show a A.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Wow, what a show! Fairly easy setups, great performance from Drew, good game-play from all the contestants! All around superb episode!  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

What better way to start things off then with a win in Cliff Hangers! Don't know what was going through Mike Richards' head when he thought people would actually want to stay in an igloo.  :?

Greco faked me out with that Eazy az 123 setup. I thought for sure the designer crap would be the most expensive.  :o

I would have bailed out at $2k as well in Baggy. I thought for sure the tape would be about a dollar less.

The showcases were the best we've seen in ages!  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Does anyone else think though that that trip to Alaska is the most ridiculous trip they've ever offered on the show? I mean, who wants to stay in an igloo made of ice? ...

Ice hotels are quite popular in Scandinavia and Quebec... I somehow doubt it would be as rustic as you're imagining.
