I'll be interested to see what kind of commercials will be running during Jay's tonight show. Ten bucks says that we'll be seeing Hoveround ads in a few years...

The ratings for Conan's last show are in. In overall viewers, Jay's finale beat him, but in the youth demos, Conan wholloped Jay's Tonight Show finale.

It was really sad to watch Conan's last show. It's still kind of surreal. Why didn't NBC just let him go in 2004 when his contract was up? Hopefully we'll be seeing him on FOX in September.

That very cool of Mr. Letterman to run a repeat against Conan. It shows how classy he really is by sacrificing the spotlight and giving it to Conan. I also thought it was classy of Jimmy Fallon to pay tribute to his successor by singing with The Roots in studio 6A and pouring alcohol on the floor, and getting caught by Dr. Oz.

Conan will be going to TBS in November. As for NBC, well, nothing will save that network this time.  There won't be another Brandon Tartikoff to pull the Peacock out of the gutter. Jeff Zucker has acomplished what Fred Silverman and Herb Schlosser couldn't: The Destruction of NBC!
