There's a difference between tacking a $1k-2k extra onto a $6k trip and offering a $25k trip that doesn't even count as a trip, though.  Nobody wants to have to pay $6,000 in income taxes just to be able to fly to Texas.

Oh, sure!  Use logic and common sense to counter my perfectly lousy argument!  I keep forgetting about that darned income tax.

(It would still be cool to fly on a private jet to Texas, though!!)

The chair I won is coming tomorrow!  I got a voice message from the shipping company the other day and it should be here anytime between 9-12.

No word on the check yet.  I know it'll get here up to 90 days after the airdate, but for those of you who actually won cash, about how long after your show aired did you get the check?  (Not that I'm in any hurry to get it, I'm just curious.)

My episode aired February 20th and I had my check almost a month later.  I got it on St. Patrick's Day!
