Same amount of games won today as yesterday and the same numbered ones too. I hope tomorrow we have more wins.
Money Game - Easy setup but was lost  :-(
Race game - a tough loss  :-(
Now or then - Easy to be won  :-D
Switch - Another easy win  :-)
Bonus Game - She nearly got a wipeout but thankfully she got the last prize right she still lost
Squeeze Play - Another tough setup  :-(

I was out for most of the show but I tuned in during Bonus Game.  I will say, it was very bizarre to see Drew run around in celebration instead of the contestant when she won the last small prize.

Great to see what some of us in chat have dubbed "Super Squeeze Play" show up.

Also, three individual diamonds instead of a piece of jewelry as a prize?

We actually have a contestant with appropriate shoes play Race Game, and they go and play it horribly.

Let me just say, if there was ONE contestant today that made me cringe, it was Daphne.  Drew actually explained the rules to Race Game pretty well today, and yet, when the time came for her to act, not only did she stand there completely clueless (Drew even said something about how she wasted a trip), not only did she waste time looking to Them for help, but she also switched the tags once--going from 2 right to 1 right--then switched them back to exactly where they had been the last time and ran back.  Pardon me, but that's just plain dumb.  And then, when there was still time on the clock, instead of dashing back over, she just stood there clueless--AGAIN.

Sorry, but for once I was glad this one didn't make it past the Wheel.

And did anyone else besides me sense a Greco-ing going on with Bonus Game?  H-H-H-L is an evil setup if there ever was one, but the prizes we had today only made it worse.  The 3D webcam was the worst by far.

Bonus Game today may better show Kathy's problem setting up games than anything else we've seen.  Sure, in That's Too Much, there's the excuse of wanting the game lost.  What excuse is there to make all four of the prizes in Bonus Game super difficult?  Three of them don't have any effect on winning, for crying out loud!  The two in the middle had virtually no chance of being won, and the two bookends were difficult as well.  Trying to set up Bonus Game so that all four prizes are lost is not only anti-climactic, but pointless to boot!

I disagree.  She had 2 prizes, then one prize, so she just decided to go for the sure thing is all.  That was a pretty good strategy.  I guessed all four right but only because I know what a TiVo costs and those tires have been on like 4 times already.
I apologise in advance.

I disagree.  {S}he just decided to go for the sure thing is all.

You're wrong.  She just stood there cluelessly for at least two full seconds at the start of the game and then each time she went to the jukebox.  Plus the fact that she kept looking to Them (always a mistake in this game and in Bonkers, and yet they do it EVERY time) and took so long to make up her mind--to say nothing of the "power walk" she was doing from prize to prize, instead of the running around that you're supposed to do.

If you're going to move that slowly, don't look to Them.  if you look to Them, move F A S T.  And above all, don't stand there forever at the jukebox while the clock is running down.  Today's player struck out with all three; the Race Game Trifecta of Doom.  Sorry, but this was the single worst playing of this game in recent memory.  Certainly the worst of the season, and probably of the Drew Carey era altogether.

I have to agree with voguevixen.  By changing the two back she was guaranteed two prizes.  Changing any of the others may have gotten her all 4 but may have also given her 0 or 1.  Yes, she did spend too much time making a guess, but at least she was able to do the right thing and guarantee herself 2 prizes.

Normally I'd say YAY for Bonus Game, but after seeing how hard those SP's were today, I'm more or less agitated about the whole thing. Frank pretty much summed things up, but again after seeing this it is crystal clear that after working alongside and watching Roger set things up all these years that Kathy either a) did not learn anything: b) could care less about fairness and excitement or c) has no clue what she is doing. Not one of those SP's was very winnable today. I'm honestly surprised we didn't see a wipeout in this game today. Seeing all these setups just reminds me why they were so foolish to fire Roger.

Hey, we got a two prize game that was actually played for TWO prizes!

What can you say about the showcases? They were filled with trips, as usual. Blah.

Money Game:  I would've never guessed 61 for the last two numbers.
Race Game:  Major ID10T error!
Now Or Then:  Well played! :-)
Bonus Game:  At least it wasn't a wipeout.
5-digit Squeeze Play:  I thought for sure William was gonna win!

Another okay show, IMHO.

By changing the two back she was guaranteed two prizes.

True, but with two more changes she'd have had four prizes, and had she moved quicker the first two trips she'd have had ample time left to make those changes.  Plus the fact as I said that she spent way too much time looking to Them.

Sorry, but I stand by my original assessment:  the game was played about as horribly today as I've ever seen it played.

I agree the Bonus Game prizes were tough - I only got the bath gift prize and that's because it's been on a dozen times.  I would NEVER have thought that coffee thing was $160 (or whatever it was!)  I'm not usually someone who gripes about things being set up for a lose (because I kinda don't care) but the small prizes in this game were foreign and bizarre.
I apologise in advance.

Well, at least we didn’t have a Money Game wipeout.

Do people not understand “run as fast as you can”?  :headbang:

Where is Bullseye? Is it taking another random mini-break like it did in season 35?

YES!!! DiPirro busted out the classic Bonus Game shot!!!  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

With that setup for Bonus, this should have been the car game. It would have been tragic to see a Bonus wipeout.

Now that I bring that up, when was the last time Bonus was wiped out?

Is this the “Showcase Round” or the “Trip-Case Round”? This is getting ridiculous!  (not to mention annoying!)
