Push Over: Nice win there.
It's in the Bag: Finally, a $16,000 win! We haven't seen that in forever.
Any Number: I hate it when someone gets the piggy bank.
One Wrong Price: Wow, a $2 difference between the first two prizes? That's evil!
Bonkers: Another bad playing of this game...
Line em Up: Nice try, but it didn't work out.
Showcases: I don't know what sucks more, overbidding on a Porsche Showcase by $176 (from a couple of shows back) or one with a Yaris by $93. Let's just say they were both equally bad.
Miscellaneous: Already, there have been two :wsd:'s this week, and IMHO, they were the lowlights of this latest bad run we've been having lately. Hopefully, the next week will get better.

Usually I hate how Drew always reminds the contestant of what they've already won after a loss, but he made it pretty funny in Any Number.

Very nice lineup today... I'm a fan of Bag and Bonkers being played in the same show.

All I have got to say is, does Drew not know the difference between a CAR and a TRUCK.  It was obvious that the contestant playing Line 'Em Up was playing for a TRUCK but Drew kept referring to it is a CAR:headbang: >:(

I will say that today's Every Room showcase was probably the best one of the season and one of the best ones in the post-Roger era.  The somewhat corny plugs by Rich were tolerable and I loved how that garage door opened to reveal the Toyota Yaris, much like how the trip skins rose to reveal something years back.

Drew really did badly during the showcase reveal.  Like Steve said on the Porsche showcase, you're supposed to express how the situation feels as you're reading the price and then almost immediately, console the loser and  congratulate the winner.  I will say Drew did a really good job during Any Number in It's in the Bag, he didn't mumble or act melancholy and he was excited.  He should host the show like that more often, really.

It was great to see another It's in the Bag win, and it was interesting to see asterisks radiate from the $16,000 graphic instead of, say, fireworks.

It's In The Bag:  Finally, a $16,000 win - awesome!
Showcases:  Another painful overbid - when is someone gonna be off by less than $250 and not be over?

Pretty good end to the week, IMHO.

Looks like Drew still needs work, after all. It was just a Yaris this time and I think he took even longer to continue the show.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Finally, a $16,000 win in Baggy! I wonder how long it's been since we've seen that happen.

Just watching the show now on DVR.  And I have to be honest, they opened the clamshell for IUFB#2, I had the sound down, and I said to myself...
are they honestly giving away a laminator on today's show?

Meanwhile I loved the IUFB act.  Drew understands the excitement of this game, but I will quote here, before the $8000 item is revealed.
"I'll offer you 8 thousand dollars, right now, if you go for this...."

Does this not imply that the contestant can win the cash, win or lose?  Be careful with your language, Drew...

Loved SC1.  At least somebody there gets it....sometimes....

Catherine, that could be the sweetest "I'm gonna pass" speech of all time....though I know you say the Yaris and thought what I did about it

A trip to Laguna Beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????

Thank you new producers, to continually choose silly prizes and trips. Thank you for zapping much of the glamour from Price Is Right.

I live near Laguna Beach and it is just a snobby community that consider themselves "arty."  Very pretentious people.

This is all besides the fact that 99% of the country has never heard of Laguna Beach.

I thought $4795 in Push Over was a trap. I guess I was wrong.

It's always nice to see a win in It's in the Bag.

Actually, a lot of the games were set up for wins today. Very nice!

It was very nice to see the ERITH showcase with the lights dimmed!!!  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

The best part of the ERITH showcase: no trips!  :-D :-D :-D

Personally, I can't wait for Whinbaby's post. I want to know how much that coffee kiosk was.

Right, it's not like there was an insanely popular MTV program set there which spun off an even more popular show or anything.

Well, this was QUITE a nice show. It is the first show in a long time that I can definitively say that there were no forced losses, and in fact, most of the games were set up pretty favorably! Of course we only went 2/6 anyway, so maybe Greco will take the hint and realize that sometimes, losses can naturally occur without her having to force them. Of course one of those wins was It's In The Bag! That was so nice to see. That was a great segment all around, and Drew did the buildups well. In fact, aside again from the showcase (which at least he handled better than Wednesday), Drew hosted more professionally today than he has in quite awhile - he seemed to be on top of things and it made for a fun show all around.

Oh, and Every Room In The House! With the lights dimmed! (Also, with one of the better car reveals ever). It's interesting that they attempted to incorporate a Drewcase-like script into it, but the script actually (mostly) worked (and it shows that someone there actually cares about ERITH). I knew this showcase had been taking a little break but I wasn't expecting it to be back so soon. Here's hoping it becomes a regular again. That 2nd showcase on the other hand - $19,000 random coffee things are unwanted. I think the contestant reactions after the showcase reveals pretty much say it all (also, the actual ERITH showcase itself was EVIL - I'm surprised Ashley didn't go over by more than she did).

Still, I'm impressed. Throw in a 29-minute lineup and this is the best show of the last 2 weeks. Let's keep it up...

Timings:
Push Over (4) - 3:03
It's In The Bag (6.5) - 7:04 (2nd longest game of the season)
Any Number (5) - 3:57
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:02
Bonkers (4.5) - 3:41
Line 'Em Up (5.5) - 4:29
Total timings (29): 26:16 (longest total of the season. These have been trending longer recently and the showcases have been losing a bit of time, which is good to see).
