1.Cover up - Great comeback  :-D
2. Half off- terrible i got all 3 wrong myself
3. ME -  I knew the the bar was the most myself great win  :-D
4. Bullseye- Thank god it was won  :-D
5. Dice game -if only she woulda said lower which was obvious we woulda had our first 5 for 6 for the season
6. Squeeze play - nice win  :-D
It's sad to see how we keep failing to win perfect shows/5 for 6's. Either way it don't matter because as long as 1 game is won the show is saved.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

The 1/2 Off SPs were just terrible. Why do they even play the game if they clearly don't want it won? Seriously... it's really frustrating me.

Because, as much as they would like otherwise, they still have to play six games on every episode.

Wow, what a great episode!  This really felt like "our" show.

There were some really good contestants today.  Nancy, Lilly, and Shannon were all a lot of fun.

Did it bother anyone that Drew never said anything while the audience was yelling at Nancy at the end of her first turn in Cover Up?  She had a good (if probably unintentional) strategy going there, and...I dunno...it felt like he was talking (not talking?) her out of something he didn't realize could help her.

The second set of small prizes in 1/2 Off was awful.

Bullseye certainly was more exciting than usual.

Dice Game was an absolutely heartbreaker.  I had a feeling Shannon had the second number wrong...but still, after three 1s and 6s...

The presentation of the first showcase was a really good idea.  It was still goofy to end it with two trips, but they were displayed really creatively.

That pizza cutter was blowing my mind.  It dethrones the $85 corkscrew in the "WTH?" category.

Today's SC2 was good.  Today's SC1 was also pretty good, the screen was a unique offering (and 10 Blu-Ray movies is just awesome no matter how you cut it), but I'd like to see it followed up with something more glamorous than...a pair of trips!!!

But who cares!  It's a 4-for-6 day and that's still one of the best episodes in recent history.  If we could keep them like this, I'd be happy!

When Nancy fainted I was reminded of the 1986 incident with Mariella and a more recent time a few years ago, when a lady played Plinko and swore she was going to faint; Bob said something like, "Don't faint, because if you faint, we step over the body and say 'Get me another player please' and we go right on."  Priceless!

Great show today! Superb contestants really made this show!  :-D

The peanut gallery strikes again! They talked Nancy out of good Cover Up Strategy.

As soon as I saw that Pizza Cutter in 1/2 Off, I knew that should have been picked. They used it in Punch-a-Bunch earlier this season.

Lilly had a spectacular comeback in Bullseye!

Dice Game was heartbreaking! I knew she was wrong, but still...

I enjoyed the trip presentation in that Digital Screen thing.

Note to Mike Richards: Nancy's reaction proves that people want to win cars more than overstuffed trips or cash, or anything on the show!

The Unwinnable Blue Mustangtm strikes again!

Now in all fairness, that car could have easily been won. The V-6 Mustang is not as expensive as the audience thought it was.

I would never pay that much for a pizza cutter....for that price, it should make, bake, cut, and serve the pizza for me, and do the dishes afterward.  Crazy!

Too bad Nancy probably was using the Cover Up Strategy inadvertently, because if she used it deliberately I'd hope she would have told the peanut gallery to buzz off.

What a great way to win in Bullseye!  I loved it!

Cover Up:  Nice win! :-)
Bullseye:  I thought for sure Lilly was gonna wipe out.  What a nice comeback! :-)
Dice Game:  Horrible loss! :-(
Showcases:  Nancy fainting reminded me of Alene fainting (I didn't actually see that episode, but I've seen the clip of Alene fainting).

Good start to the week, IMHO.

Fun show today.

The audience really irritated me in Cover Up... she probably didn't know it, but Nancy was definitely using the Cover Up Strategy.

Half Off... ugh. A very tough game to begin with, and making this game excessively hard is really dumb.

Bullseye was really fun, and it was nice to see that game again... I was starting to worry it was going in for "refurbishment," or something.

Nice to hear the old Tennis Cue.

Dice Game was painful, but certainly winnable.

The first showcase had a very clever presentation, although two trips in a row is a crappy way to end a showcase.

Nancy's fainting definitely reminded me of those similar incidents in the Barker Era...

Quote
I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

I have a feeling I'll get hounded for this, but I don't think Nancy really fainted. It just looked a little fake, like she did it to be dramatic. When Mariella fainted in 1986, that looked real. Unless it was edited, it seemed like Nancy "fainted" and then got up right away. I don't see someone getting up right away after he/she fainted.

I like it when contestants go crazy when they win, but her reactions seemed a little too over the top.

Half Off really bothered me today (and it usually has) but for some odd reason it really got to me today. They oughta realize the game comes down to pure luck anyway and make the SP's winnable, instead they make the SP's downright impossible to win which really makes things even worse. At best the contestant has a 50-50 shot to win and even then a win isn't guaranteed, so why bother going to all the trouble to make the SP's impossible when a win isn't a surefire thing in this game.

Dice Game just made me wanna bang my head. What did Shannon think that Mustang was? A convertible? Really, an inexcusable loss in my opinion.

Did it bother anyone that Drew never said anything while the audience was yelling at Nancy at the end of her first turn in Cover Up?  She had a good (if probably unintentional) strategy going there, and...I dunno...it felt like he was talking (not talking?) her out of something he didn't realize could help her.

I've noticed from previous playings that Drew doesn't include the "As long as you have one number right, you get to keep playing" part until after the first try and the question is asked if the price is correct. Then we hear the buzzer and groans. Drew then says, "Don't worry, as long as at least one number is right, you get to keep playing." A sigh of relief from the player and audience members who are unfamiliar with the game. Therefore, for those who unfamiliar with the game, the "miss the first number intentionally on the first try" strategy is unknown to them. Whether or not Nancy knew of this strategy and was simply talked out of using it is unknown to me.

Drew says the Dice Game is an easy game. Well, yeah...if you roll nothing but 1's, 6's, and/or correct numbers.  Not so easy if you roll 3's and 4's.

Exciting win for Lily in the Bullseye game! She missed the target completely with the jambalaya mix and Clorox, but she covered herself with glory with her eight blueberry crisp bars.

Nice way to end the game for Nancy - not by fainting, but by winning two cars on the show!
