Dear Fingers,

Enough with the That's Too Much crap already.  We get it.

Thanks,

I guess after the week of good 'ol fashioned Price, we're back to normal.

Jeez, when was the last time somebody got a second chance slip in Punch-a-Bunch? It seems like forever!

I’m going to go against everything I believe in when I say this: Somebody else better start setting up That’s too Much!, or just don’t play the game all together. I've had it with that game!

Liked that Beamer in the Showcase.

Today was "back to reality" day on Price in a big way. It's somewhat a problem when you offer 3 vehicles on the show, 2 under $20,000 and 1 over $50,000, and the one valued over $50,000 is by far the easiest to win. Just....no. I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall sometimes with these L7 and TTM setups.

That whole drum exchange in OB4 went over like a lead balloon. And why does Drew still feel the need to play with the trash bags during a pricing game? Is Hi Lo by itself not interesting enough? What is he trying to accomplish there?

The highlight of today's show, apart from the BMW, was at least seeing Punch A Bunch go a reasonable distance again (even though it ended in the same result). I hope we get back on track tomorrow....

Timings:
Punch A Bunch (5.5) - 5:27
Lucky $even (4.5) - 4:11
Freeze Frame (4) - 3:21
Hi Lo (5) - 5:39
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:49
That's Too Much! (5) - 3:37
Total time (27.5): 25:04

It seemed like it even blew Drew away, much less the viewers.  If I was a player I would've went "WHOA!" and stuck with it.
I apologise in advance.

What a miserable show.

Let me say that Punchboard does not make a good first game--never has and never will. Perhaps seeing Punchy first was a sign of things to come.

Lucky 7 was its usual evil self.

ENOUGH WITH PUTTING THE CORRECT STOPPING PRICE SECOND IN THAT'S TOO MUCH!!! It's ridiculous and totally unfair.

At least Drew didn't destroy the GP's in Hi-Lo like he did last time, played with the trash bags--which is still bad enough--but at least he didn't demolish the table.

Hopefully Friday will be better.

Freeze Frame had a really mean setup -- the actual retail price was only $159 away from the closest fake.

I'm getting really damn sick of That's Too Much!.  There's just no realistic way it's going to be won these days, and that isn't fun.

I wasn't able to watch the show today, but passing a TV on campus, I saw the beginning of the TTM segment (the car plug and Drew giving the rules). I think it's bizarre that I can walk away from the TV to go to class and just know without watching the correct choice was either the 2nd or 9th price.

To echo what many of us have said and felt for a while, the 2nd-or-9th-price TTM setup has gotten old (and is ancient by this point) and the game, which I never liked but didn't mind before, has become simply unenjoyable to watch. I thought variety was the spice of life - I don't think TTM should be exempt...

Not to mention we know that 9 will be the last number in Lucky $even every time.  The price in general was very evil although going high for the 3rd number was a bad idea. It would have been better to play this first and Punch a Bunch second also.

Nice win in One Right Price. Too bad it was the only win of the show.

I'm wondering how long it will take for That's Too Much to have the Cash Cab effect. In other words, how long will it take people to figure out the trick? There's free cars for the taking here... if only people would actually take them.

What about all the times the last number will be 1?

I dunno, is there a way, regarding That's Too Much, that — short of a bright or intuitive contestant figuring out the current TTM strategy and stopping on the second price to win, or a lawsuit from a contestant who believes the current trend to be unfair — the producers can stop with the "evil" TTM setups?

It does not appear that the people who set up the game are listening to us, the masses. It is obvious that TTM is being used strictly to advertise cars (and even the plugs are abysmal, although this isn't the fault of Drew or Rich), with an intentional plan to not allow the car to be given away.
