CSS Results for February 26

Good news: This is the last CSS of February. Monday is March 1st.

Bad news: Sometimes March has been as bad as February when it comes to CSS. :oldlol:

So, the expensive version of the Boat of Doom, and the Evil Mustang Convertible. I'm surprised even more people didn't bomb. Not sure what went on with that first showcase to make it $$$$, and not sure what made so many people ting that the second showcase was going to be big bucks.

sxykitten3 has a HARD DSW on a Friday. With pricey showcases, that's almost $145,000 in cash. Top 5 for me is better than I thought I'd see at the end of February, and where's BigJon? Double garf. ;)

$33,300/$34,200... yet again, I blow an opportunity to tie it, but also yet again, I don't lose anything for it. I'll try again after the weekend.

Kristin's bids: $27,000/$37,000... not the best bids by her. We've got a ND here, too.

I'm somewhat surprised to see those two trips in SC1 combine for $15K.  Neither one appeared to be that expensive.

I'm even more surprised to see myself in 6th place -- I made ultra-conservative bids to guarantee points after getting that painful WSD on Thursday.

BigJon just bid conservatively since he was getting assaulted by forum members on a daily basis... I had a streak of good luck; and getting attacked is not fun  :-(.... Besides, pts are x 2 anyways  :-D

I hear ya Bully. Granted I still would have garfed both of them. But as that old saying goes:

right when the second showcase showdown came on, my connection was lost, so i asked myself, use my phone and in put the bids blindly or not play at all. I bid blindly and still didn't go over, but on the other hand, i garft something major.

Yeah, I heard 'wine wall' and apparently thought it would be hyper-expensive (envisioning a combination of 'wine basement' and 'man wall').  Obviously, I was way off.

EDIT:  Yep, that was it.  I put it at 6k, when it was only $1,800.  Oh well.
