Nothing like a rebound putt in Hole In One that goes in for the win! Further proof of why this game is highly underplayed and needs to see more time.

Pretty good show today. I thought Drew showed a lot of class for saluting the cast, crew and others who had made his 500 shows possible.

I would have probably won That's Too Much, since I figured the car's price was in the mid-20's range. My fears of her losing were confirmed when she stopped too soon. Again, the correct answer was on the fringe of what was acceptable for this game (third through eighth, and the right answer was eighth)

I would have gone 3-for-4 on Punch-a-Bunch; of all the rotten luck for Monet, though. She was a good, little bit too excited (but aren't they all) contestant and deserved better than $50. (And remember, this was after pulling out $100 on each of her first three punches.)

Pushover had two truly possible choices, and it was just bad luck for Eric. Danger Price was a piece of cake.

I really loved Ariana's enthusiasm, and was happy for her winning the car. However, her changing her answer on the first grocery item in Hole-in-One (no "Two" needed today) — exchanging the wheat crackers for the pepper sauce — should have been a no-no. Once you've decided, that should be it. Contestants need to think carefully and not let the audience decide when making the decision; only Ariana could win the car, not the idiots in the peanut gallery. Just be fortunate that Drew is lenient.

(And for the record, I would have missed on the third item, too; mixing up the crackers and the Clorox wipes.)

What seemed like an obvious pick in Squeeze Play — removing the two to form a "500" price (i.e., $9,500) — would have cost me a piano and lessons.

Other than that, a good show. The few complaints I do have are thus:

• Drew was a bit inconsistent when handing out the $500 awards to contestants getting on stage. His interactions with contestants were great, and that may have distracted him, but it probably would have been better had he given out the $500 wads upon each winner getting on stage every time. It's hard to do, I'll admit — even I would have been inconsistent here, but still ...

• Also, no Golden Road or other luxury car game (i.e., 3 Strikes, Triple Play) played today. Would have been nice so as to fit into the theme a bit mroe.

Still, thanks to Drew for a good — albeit at times inconsistent — first 500 shows, and hoping to see more TPiR in the future.

Brian

That hand-held fireplace is the cat's meow.  I want one for each hand.

I was paying attention to the number 500 while watching the pricing games - but that was the number to avoid! I would have pushed the Push Over blocks to the $5006 price, and would have removed the 2 for a $9500 Squeeze Play price.

Four punches at the Punch Board - and still only $50 in the end? I wonder how often that has happened. Bad luck! On the other hand, there was some good luck at the golf course today. That was cool how Ariana's putt bounced off and into the hole.

I don't know if I'd want a fireplace in a suitcase, but I'd love to have that Twinkie baking set!

the show was par...yes,par for the course today....if there was one thing i`d rework about that`s too much is putting a vidwall just slightly above and behind the car with the prices scrolling from top to bottom like the original pic-a-pair and when the player sees the price, they yell that`s too much with the same flip card reveal,it would clear up room for camera shots or what not

Why would there be a need to do that?  The contestant can just stare at the big bloody prop in front of them for the price.

Punch A Bunch:  What horrible luck after winning all 4 punches! :-(
Push Over:  One number too far - bummer! :-(
Hole In One:  That was a pretty neat putt! :-)
Further proof of why this game is highly underplayed and needs to see more time.
I agree.  I think that Master Key & Spelling Bee also need to see more time, and that That's Too Much needs to be retired (I'm sorry, but I just don't like That's Too Much.).

Not too bad overall, IMHO.  Thanks for 500 good shows, Drew! :-)  Hopefully there'll be a lot more.

:-) Congratulations Drew on making 500 episodes of tpir...

pricing game line up was good today, but I would have changed Danger Price to Clock Game instead. Clock Game was one of 1st games that Drew learned & was played on Drew's first taped episode.

Nice to see That's Too Much price right in the middle for a change.
Overall, good show today!   :-)

Was anyone besides me thinking the second showcase would end with a Ford Five Hundred? Or maybe that's just a little too much?  :-)

The free $500 for every contestant came off about as well as I thought it would...actually, strike that.  It came off worse, because I made the incorrect assumption that Drew would at least remember to award it every time!

And of course, how do we start what's supposed to be a special episode?  By playing That's Too Much!, of course!  (Idiots.)

Wow, Punch a Bunch was actually easy for once.

Oh, God help me, they're scripting "conversations" between Drew and Rich again.  That's about the last thing they need to start back up.

It was great hearing classic cues for the fourth and fifth Items up for Bids.

I can't remember the last time somebody won Hole in One with a rebound!

You know, this whole lineup would have made more sense in reverse -- Squeeze Play, Hole in One, Danger Price, Push Over, Punch a Bunch, That's Too Much!.

And just because starting with That's Too Much! wasn't enough proof that these people are clueless, they offered a two-prize showcase.  God.

This show looked interesting in the recap, but as I had classes, I couldn't see the actual show. Props to Monet for getting 4 punches (is that the first time this season?). If Danger Price was lost, I'd like to see what store sells any of the other items for $500.
