"The Smudge"

Everybody's been talking about the smudge on Detroit Tigers pitcher Kenny Rogers' hand. "Was it dirt?" "Was it pine tar?"
You know, I'd just wish people would just shut up about it; it's bad enough I had to hear about it on Inside Edition. He said it was dirt off the rosin bag, I think it was dirt.
