I'm assuming this was the regular Any Number board. I also missed the second half.

Still on the present board. They fixed the goofball digits.

(BTW: got the timing on the interruption recorded in the Anomalies thread)

John said in another thread that Temptation's new design will debut before Any Number's. Someone in Talk is Right went to the April 16th (I think?) taping and that's when Temptation's new set is supposed to air. So, Any Number's should air after unless they switch airdates around.

Flip Flop:  Why must the contestants listen to "them"? :headbang:
Let Em Roll:  Nice rollin'! :-)
Secret X:  That's the way to play it! :-)
Step Up:  Good thing Shane bailed out!

What I saw of the show was good, IMHO.  Boy, I hate when it gets interrupted!

I agree! I loved that! Really fits the game to as they could be said to be "rolling" by.

Today's show was a step up from yesterday (no pun intended!) - better produced all around. Getting frustrating to watch Flip Flop and Range Game though. Flip Flop has now been lost 15 times in a row when the correct answer was to flip and flop (yes, a staggering statistic, but it's true). Additionally, we've had several long playings lately because it evidently is a game that is very difficult to get audience help on, and notably, the audience NEVER wants the contestant to flip and flop. So pretty much whenever you see a trip (or something expensive) in Flip Flop, you know Greco will want it lost, and therefore the correct answer will be to flip and flop.

Meanwhile, today's Range Game playing was a textbook example of another kind of forced loss - today he let it get as high up the scale as we've seen in awhile, and then he stopped it because the audience was getting antsy. Drew even pointed it out, "the audience always gets antsy when it gets up that high". Meanwhile, when it's something expensive like that Harley today, it's a GUARANTEE that Greco is going to put it up that high (side note: was that the most ridiculously expensive Harley ever?) so it's pretty much a guarantee it's going to be lost. I have my own quibbles with Range Game anyway (it's pretty much the "hope it's in the middle game" now because there's no way to price things within $600 anymore) but it's getting tiresome to see the same things over and over. They need to learn there are ways to make Range Game hard without making it impossible. Today's contestant would have been rewarded on one such setup, for letting the rangefinder go moderately but not obscenely high (i.e. if they wanted a "hard" Range Game setup, the price of the motorcycle should have been....$16,689, or something like that, with that same 16300-16900 setup).

So now that I've talked forever about 1-prize quickies, the rest of the show was entertaining. Let 'Em Roll continued a lucky streak in that game, Secret X was nice and easy, Step Up was a good bailout, and Drew in general has been on point both episodes so far this week.

Timings:
Flip Flop (3.5) - 3:31
Let 'em Roll (5.5) - 4:52
Secret X (4.5) - 4:17
Step Up (5.5) - 4:27
Any Number (5)- 4:10
Range Game (4) - 3:10
Total time: 24:27

Better show but not totally great...Greco is still pushing the envelope. Please, don't react like this after every DSW...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

This was a pretty decent episode.  Drew did a larger amount of hosting than usual, and he even managed to react to the final Showcase reveal without giving away what he'd seen.

I think Flip Flop may be the first time I've heard Drew actually refer to the audience as "the audience."

The new wipe in Let 'em Roll is really something.

The first showcase ended with a trip.  The second showcase ended with two trips.  God.

I enjoyed the episode, but I was rooting for Manuela to connect on one of those pitches. I think Rachel needs to be employed as the official model hitting coach.

Nice to see another close bid on a Showcase. It was funny to see that woman feign enthusiasm about the stemware before the car was revealed.
