For a 1/6er, this was a pretty fun show. Drew hosted it well, even his jokes worked well (I liked the "51 bottles of wine on the wall" after OB3 and we had some good contestants. Hard hard setups today though. While Gavazzi mentioned Pathfinder was better, it still needs to get easier, as in cars ending in -5 or -0, or the SPs getting a little more reasonable. Check-Out was appropriately hard for the high prize package, and it was funny to see the contestant be all over the place and still win - sometimes that happens in that game!

$20,000 treehouses are unwanted, though. And what is the point of having THREE motorcycles in a showcase?  ;)

Timings:
Balance Game (4) - 3:22
Pathfinder (5.5) - 5:37
Most Expensive (3.5) - 3:33
Freeze Frame (4) - 3:01
Dice Game (4.5) - 4:45
Check-Out (5.5) - 5:15
Total time (27.5): 26:32

How would that help?  When was the last time someone actually reached the last digit?

Drew told Brian not to save the Espresso maker for last...

What difference would that make?

And what Drew actually said was "Don't let your chances of winning a car come down to the Espresso Maker." Just a general caution.

The time when a fake 0 caused the most painful loss in the game ever, which was Oct. 14 of this season.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I haven't much to say about today's show. Glad Check Out was won to save the day from a skunk. I liked the new Most Expensive set.

And now...something to occupy my ferry ride home...

How often has Check Out, of all things, saved us from getting skunked?

Out of 27 instances since the start of Price Season 24 (Sept. 1995) where Check Out has been played within a 1-win show, thrice has this game been the only one saving us from a skunking:

Today (6th game); June 24, 2009 (4th game), y Jan. 4, 2005 (6th game).

BONUS: There are at least three, perhaps four, other times in that period where it was played during a skunked show.

I think Rich said about the tree house that installation isn't included (what else did he said) in the showcase.  Would anyone know how much is it?

It's nice to see Brian win the Check Out!

Price of installation? Let's put it this way. You could by a decent used car with it.
