CSS Results for April 13
« on: April 13, 2010, 04:11:49 PM »
Okay, so I completely missed what model the Honda was in the first showcase and went low for safety's sake. I won't do it again, I promise. Maybe. I still got 87 points so I'm not really unhappy.

vadernader picks up another DSW and win, and he beat his best bid this season by $4. I'm not sure who this KrazyKendall guy is (another member of the BlogTV contingent?) but he knows how to price random trip and robot showcases.

Several people employed the "bid the same or nearly the same on both showcases" trick today, and those who did are probably happy for it. Unless of course both of your bids were really low. :oldlol:

$31,300/$36,200... I knew I was toast once I went over. There was no way Armadillo wasn't nailing this, so I'm not too terribly disappointed since I probably wouldn't have beaten him anyway. I would have been close, but I think he would have got me regardless.

Nothing is really notable about my performance today, other than the fact that I blew a chance at a 90-point day by shaving $2K off of my SC1 bid at the last minute.  Call me paranoid when it comes to pricing trips.

Way to go Vader and Kendall! Team BlogTV is taking over CSS. Tom, KrazyKendall is a she, by the way. Just thought I'd let you know ;)

Someone could've bid $33,900 on both and gotten a QSW.

I priced the robots at $1,000.  Taking a look at the ARP, I'm guessing that may have been where I was off.

Imagine if someone bid $34k even on both. They'd have gotten a heartbreaking WSD/DSW combo.

27410/31710 - stupid Japan. On a Sanibel day this is OK though.

Lol Bully, I find WSDing worse than a blown DSW for some reason
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Kristin's bids: $36,000/$19,000... I'm sure glad she went over on the first showcase, because this would have been the cheapest win ever.
