Disappointing Clock Game playing today, I thought she had a chance to win both prizes but just got mixed up while bidding.

I enjoyed today show it was great & Drew did a wonderful job as host.

I give today show a A.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

From the top, I think Drew is beginning to give Bob's little suspense building a lot more use and its turning out well.

Clock Game: Don't say she did awful, but some room for desire. I'd give her a B for trying and getting 1 prize.

Side By Side: Too easy.

Grocery Game: .44 ouch. She should've gotten 1 less Oreo.

Swap Meet: Swamped easy.

Pocket Change: Gah if she said 4, whoops and clangs should be in order. Still a great playing and win.

Cliff Hangers: That was nailbiting.

Showcases: That damned Sanibel returns. Nuff' said.

Best Contestant: Our Pocket Change winner

Well I guess Friday's opening was just a flub on Rich's part. That's disappointing.

I kinda laughed a little when Drew says he plays Clock Game really good.

Speaking of Clock Game, that was just played poorly.

If there's one quickie game that I don't mind seeing a slight increase in play, it's Side by Side.

Hey, Scott wasn't wearing a maroon shirt. It seems like every time he get's a little airtime, he's wearing the same shirt.

I never thought I'd be happy to see Swap Meet.

Drew's reveal in Pocket Change was just awesome!

Coupla notes from someone you thought you'd never hear comments like this from:

The last few days I've watched, and zeroing in on those that I did watch, Drew's one-bid reveals have gotten eons better.  He's  going straight from the last bid to "ARP.....$X" without pause or one-bid ridicule.

Also, he's getting the idea that it's not appropriate not to make fun of any one game or the process involved with the playing of the game.

And I agree with all the comments posted above in that his hosting today of "Pocket Change" was fo-shizzle!  The reveal of the last envelope was quite awesome, he did a fairly good job of building up the tension on what would have been the most hearbreaking loss I would have seen since the 3X playing from Bob's last Christmas week.

Now if I or we can only convince him that using "IUFB" instead of "PUFB" is better...

WTG Drew...you're turning me around.

Perhaps these changes for the better are a result of that survey they announced a few months ago? If so, I approve.  :-D

Pocket Change was loads of fun to watch. An epic playing, a near monumental choke, and Drew with the great reveal.

I don't see how the contestant could have choked with just pure luck.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Will not likely happen. If they call it an "item up for bid" again, then the bidding segment becomes nothing more than a qualification round.

My recap.

I agree on Clock Game. She had the idea, but little mistakes and slight mental errors cost her. Oh well...at least I don't have to guess on the price of the TV this time for the recap.

That playing of PC was a bit too harrowing. She missed just one digit once, and still almost lost.

Two things:

1. Despite what the current staff may think, the One-Bid is just a qualification round.
2. In the prize copy, Rich still says, "Here comes the lovely ___ with the next item up for bids," and today, even Drew referred to "the first item up for bids."
Quote
I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

Clock Game:  Not the best playing, but I've seen far worse.
Grocery Game:  Rats! :-(
Pocket Change:  I thought for sure Katherine was gonna win without making a mistake!  Exciting win nonetheless, and a great reveal of the last envelope by Drew, too! :-)
Cliff Hangers:  It got a little scary at the end, but still a pretty good win.

Pretty good overall, IMHO.
