April 27 am and pm taping
« on: April 28, 2010, 11:46:19 PM »
we went to the April 27 2010 pm taping and while we were being processed two Los Angles medic units came in with sirens on and went around to where we finally entered.

After we were processed  4PM came and went. we finally got in at 4:30 pm when the show was supposed to start Rich said there were technical difficulties with the video tape.  then during each break they lasted over 5 minutes each.  All I could get from the staff was technical difficulties.

anyone have any further information

by the way there was NO prizes given away for both AM and PM taping except to get on stage, according to Drew and Rich.

I don't see how a medical emergency would cause them to produce two fulls show, yet only give away the one bid items. A technical difficulty would be a more logical reason for no prizes being awarded; yet it doesn't explain why they would proceed with a second show, if difficulties existed throughout the first one. I couldn't see either show being aired if all major prizes won became null and void.

you miss under stood what I said.  the medical emergency may or may have not had anything to do with the first show I was just interested if anyone out there had any information.  I was thinking maybe the person who ran the tape machine might have had a problem and the new person might not have known how to run the machine and this would have delayed the second show.

there were no prizes given away in either show because the people picked did not know the suggested retail price and over bid.

Then you should have explained yourself a bit more clear in the first statement.

They're still using tape over there? I was under the impression that they (along with the entire network) had went completely tapeless last year...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I think "tape" is still used as a general term to record something.
They can be close at the top, too.

Incidentally, Monday was an El Skunko so I guess this turned out to be true.
