I don't know if you have noticed what I have, but a lot of stuff on the show seems to be getting more "elegant". For instance, it seems like the prize backdrops are getting a lot more elegant, and we're seeing less of the older style backdrops.

I think Step Up looks really good - it looks much more vibrant, bold, and interesting than it used to. Kudos to Bente (assuming she was the one who did this.)

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

..and eliminating "older" stuff does not equate to getting new, elegant stuff.

I thought the showcase props for the Department Store/Price is Right elevator and First Bank of Price were quite elegant.  It's a shame that they've been trashed.
