*Macsen looks back in hindsight* Drew got a bit into the spinach. Good thing CBS and Paramount were already owned by the same company at this point.

We've got another possible two-for-one for the First Four Midday Revue. Mimi loves when she's guaranteed at least one new customer. This time, we have bookends, with Shellie on red and Stefanie on green. Neither of them want the bad entertainment. One of them will have to endure it. Both of them may end up suffering it...

*Macsen looks at his edits in hindsight again* Wow. Put yesterday's pricing games together with this double overbid, and we would have an El Skunko. Oh well, we've had enough of those anyway.

What a shame. They weren't terrible bids, either.*pops back through his time portal, which again almost catches his tail on the way out*

Another redo inspired by Pluto. Where do I begin...

In addition to swapping in LOSS, I colorized the Wheel spots, added the blurb for our First Four slackers, updated the Showcase format, and updated the Grand Game playing format. Oh, also originally forgot to add the money won in Grand Game to the total winnings, so that's fixed.

Not as hard as yesterday set-up wise, but some bad breaks and a few instances of contestant fails led this one to be mostly forgettable.

I did like Walter's announcing. :)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I knew as soon as an overbid during the first one-bid round was left in, we were in for a snoozefest lineup. I was right.

Freeze Frame for a designer wardrobe is absolutely unfair. The only reason it was won was because of a lucky guess.  This show isn't about random guessing, it's about pricing right.  I don't have a problem with using designer clothing as a prize, but they should really be kept to fee games only.

On the other hand, Switch? was really easy. I don't understand how that was lost.

The showcases were fairly decent today, with fairly priceable prizes.

Is it just me, or did they switch out the mic on Rich's podium? I noticed that yesterday, too...it seems longer and skinnier.

OVERALL: 2/5.

"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

A grill is more than an ATV by $1300, despite -999 more fitting the ATV than the grill? Greco's used this trick SO much.

Boy oh boy was this season in a nutshell. Freeze frame was the only game won today and we had a double overbid on top of that.
Switch - You shoulda left them alone
Freeze Frame - The only win to save us from El Skunko V
Pathfinder - Forced Loss as usual
Bonkers - The contestant performed poorly.
Grand Game - Another tough setup
That's too much - This must stop
Showcases - another double overbid what a disappointment today. I hope tomorra goes better. Had the contestant not won freeze frame we'd have El Skunko.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

I'm really starting to hate TTM. It's becoming as evil as Bullseye I.

EDIT: Also, I don't recall there being so many DOBs in a single season before.

Today's double overbid certainly doesn't help our case against all-trip showcases... the more this happens, the more they'll be convinced that super-expensive all-trip showcases are the way to go.

I thought That's too Much was, again, set up to be won. I easily guessed it.

Nice to see rarely played Pathfinder in the lineup, but why was that's too much played again so soon?   ;)

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...................... ..

My DVR decided to eat my recording during the second SCSD. I won't have a recap until later tonight when the replay hits CBS.com. Sorry.

Is it just me or does it seem like every time That's Too Much gets introduced, they try to hide it from the camera in the best way possible? I wish they'd stop showing the far far left of the board for like five seconds before they finally zoom out to reveal the rest of it and just cut to the full view once Rich is done describing the car. That way it would be less painful to see the game in action.

I have noticed that too.  It does seem like they did switch richs mic.

They did yesterday----looked like he was back to the usual mic today.

The show itself, today........... snore!
