More or Less was supposed to be lost, but certainly not like that.  What kind of show does he think this is?

It was only very briefly shown when the curtain rose, but the Groceries were displayed at $3800.

And that's where this game was supposed to end, since we know from previous experience that the groceries are $6631 (reference).

It seems to me that more often than not now, the thousands digit goes up by two when the contestant is supposed to stop. I think we may be starting to see a new unwritten rule.

I agree that it's been happening more often, but in the last 11 playings by following this advice you would won 6 times.

Is it enough for an unwritten rule?  Probably not, but you be the judge.

(And not only that, but you would have stopped at the second price today!)

I'm afraid you're wrong here. Rich clearly stated that the groceries for a year, was the total value of groceries for 1 person. The prize you referenced was for two people.
"It's a SuperBall prize package worth $11,245!!

The show has been getting better lately, but gosh, if you want to sum up for someone everything that's still wrong with the current Price Is Right, try putting on the More Or Less segment from today. Groceries for a year in More Or Less is just unfair and ridiculous. The fact it was part of a cutesy "theme" with a dinette set and flatware makes it even worse - theming prizes in More Or Less is pointless because the car will always undo the theme! (unless of course you theme it around the car). Then, we have the fact that they forgot to mention the fact it had to do with average MSRP until a minute late so Rich had to randomly interrupt Drew's explanation (would it be a technical win if we hadn't done that?) And then we had one of the worst game playings in Price Is Right history. Less than $400? This isn't Wal-Mart, kiddo!

Aside from that frustrating segment, today was decent enough. The hula hoop segment was a little random, but a fun way to use some time after the quick More Or Less - I enjoyed it. I'm getting really tired of fake 5s and 9s in Plinko though....

Timings:
Switch? (3.5) - 2:39
Plinko (5.5) - 4:54
That's Too Much! (5) - 3:42
Grocery Game (5) - 4:55
Push Over (4) - 3:06
More Or Less (5.5) - 3:55
Total time (28.5): 23:11 (super short MOL does that)

That was for two. This time, Rich clearly stated "for one".

Well then, there's still no reasonable way anyone can figure out whether the price would be higher or lower than $3800.  Does the average person spend more than $73.08 a week on groceries?  How is anyone supposed to know what someone else spends on groceries?

Regardless, because of how food comes packaged, it's almost inevitably higher than $3316 if it costs $6631 for two people.  Still have no idea whether the price would be higher or lower than $3800, though.
