PIR has been the only game show where they screw the rule and allow the show to run beyond 60 minutes, even though CBS has local news to report and promotions to run in order to cover the airwaves.

What the heck are you talking about?

I wish Drew would learn to read the whole price — or at least the middle two digits — before reacting in Squeeze Play.

Speaking of Squeeze Play, it's frustrating she lost on a gimme setup on an otherwise perfect show.

Nice to see things worked out for the accounting people today — Take Two was won with all four prices revealed and somebody actually bothered to show the price in Bonkers (clearly added in post, but certainly better than they've been doing usually).

I don't know how I forgot this earlier...the beginning of Act 6 today was awesome.  Drew immediately started talking to Rich without doing his stupid "Welcome back to The Price Is Right!" thing...it was exactly how Bob used to do it, and it sounded so much more natural than what usually happens.

Good grief... it happened again! I guess the Let 'em Roll feat that I once witnessed in person isn't so rare anymore.

Can anyone here tell me why insanely easy setups like the one in Squeeze Play are lost often? Seriously... it's really irritating.

What a win in Bonkers! That is exactly how you play the game, my friends.

...and a similarly impressive win in Pocket Change! It's not often that you see the $2.00 card.

I'm kind of disappointed that One Wrong Price was won... it really makes Nicole's ridiculous loss loom large. In this age of impossible setups, a perfect show is extremely rare... yet we could have (and should have) had one today. Very frustrating.

The $11K win in the second Showdown clinched a grade of 4 for this show. Easily one of the best (if not the best) shows of the season. Very enjoyable, and lots of wins to go around. But still... curse you, Nicole!

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Kourtney
SHOW GRADE: 4

That's the cheapest car I've seen on Price in several years. Not sure why Rich had to say it was a sub-compact. I mean. Look at it :) But hey. It doesn't top the $10,700 cars LMAD sometimes tries to give away. Trips are often worth more!

Let 'Em Roll:  Great win here!

Squeeze:  :headbang:  A very winnable setup is lost.

Take Two:  That is a ridiculous-looking clock IMO.

Bonkers:  Another great win here!

Pocket:  Yet another great win here!

A perfect show is ruined by a loss on Squeeze... on a very winnable setup.
Tripcase n.  A showcase that contains one or more trips.

Just a reminder, I have a corrected recap on my link on the first page. It has the right tape date and a correction to Squeeze Play.

When was that? The most basic Accent I can find is $13,645.
**************
That was a cheap price for a car.
I only paid $13,800 for a 2007 toyota yaris 3 years ago when the car was new. I thought that was cheap then.

Is this going to be a trend now, giving away cheap cars?   ;)

Simple.  Something that looks so easy also looks like a huge trap.  It's one of those "That's so obvious it can't possibly be true" things.

If they don't like to give away cars, they found an alternate mean in giving cheap cars. Cheapest car this season in a pricing game. At least, contestant didn't have any choice to make.

That clock would make my sister go bonkers. :D

Talking about Bonkers, finally a smart contestant !!!

Always nice to see Pocket Change :)

SC1 was yelling CAR before it was shown. SC2 misses something.

Not that it matters as it may have been a seamless transition from the commercial to the show, but haven't game show hosts said "Welcome back to (name of show)," "We're back," or some similar phrase after the commercial break for years?

Yeah, I know, what works for one show doesn't always fit in with another, but still ...
